Wonderful critters, Izzie. Kev is particularly gorgeous.

Good morning all.

It's good to see the traveler has safely returned.

I'm in the DC area for a couple days. Storms are forecast for here and at home tomorrow night. I may end up staying longer than planned.

I hope the sun is shining on everyone's day today.

Lovely to see our RH back Smile

JPB - you take care in the storms girlie (xox) Smile

Glad you liked the pics folks. Mean a lot to me.

Izzie's taking it a little easy today - just to need to pass the helm over for a short while. Going to lie in a deckchair for a few hours Smile

Sending hugs to one and all x

Good Morning all you good folks...well, let me start out by saying that I am probably backing off on my time here...I am in deep doo doo with the husband...rightfully so. I thought baseball practice was at 1;00 yesterday and it was at 3:00 - they got to the ball park 2 hours early...again...I think I have some kind of mental problem. May need to go to the Dr and see...but I mainly think that I am just flakey. Need to focus more on my schedule and keeping it straight than playing on line...as much fun as it is. After my wedding snafu - well...I really just need to get my ducks in a row and make a great dinner for him tonight and wear the best negligee...you know - whatever it takes to get him back in good spirits...cause he ain't happy with me right now. And I don't blame him!

Sometimes it's good that I do things like this...I have a tendency to blame him for everything sometimes...and there is no way I can turn this back around on him...it is ALL me. And this just helps me realize it...

I hope you all have a good day...

Don't blame yourself; it's better to be early than two hours late.

That's what I would think...but he works really long hours at work and I stole 4 hours of his weekend. He is being nice about it...but I can tell he is a little peeved with me. I got a lecture.... Shocked I hate it when that happens.

Thanks Try...you're up and at it early this morning...You sleep good?

Thank you Izzie...I bet those fuzzy chill-pillows are hard to swallow! Laughing kidding. Rolling Eyes sorry....It will be fine - you are so sweet. I really have been such a time waster lately - so I need to re-direct some of this sitting on my arse and get some things done. And it was actually fun Saturday - the whole coffee shop, library thing...though we did look mighty out of place in our fine wedding wear walking around the Public Library... :shock:He just didn't get to read the paper and his stack of books like he likes to do... Rolling Eyes he is an adorable nerd...I really do like that about him...but so O.C. about it all... It's a good thing he has me to keep him from being so dadgum stodgy sometimes! Laughing

Have a great day sweet lady and all you other folks.
Mis

Izzn't Kev just so lovely Smile (oooh...wazn't Kev luvly - sad story!)

Did kiss him once Shocked - thought he may turn into My Frog Prince.... Razz but he just looked back at me with that wide-mouthed-frog-type-grin that says - "Yh Right Little Lady - you just keep kissing me and we'll see what happens a?"

Ha - one day a? who knows! Smile

(and before some smart a$$$ comes along and says - "Ooh, wazit the kiss that killed him?!" NO - it was a very unfortunate logging accident which my little fella definitely, absolutely 100%, in no way at all had anything whatsoever to do with - really - deffo wasn't sneaking a peek whilst endest son was out - uh huh - nope, never, it wazn't him Shocked Sad )

JPB - hope all is well in DC and that they are treating you mighty fine:)

Hey TTHun - how are you today? Think I read you were going walkabout. Nothing like a nice walk at nite - was the moon bright? Hope you are faring well Beautiful One. Nice to see you Smile

So near.... Smile There's my moors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Widecombe Fair

"Tom Pearce, Tom Pearce, lend me your grey mare,
All along, down along, out along, lee,
For I want for to go to Widecombe Fair,
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

"And when shall I see again my grey mare?"
All along, down along, out along, lee,
"By Friday soon, or Saturday noon,
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

So they harnessed and bridled the old grey mare
All along, down along, out along, lee,
And off they drove to Widecombe fair,
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

Then Friday came, and Saturday noon,
All along, down along, out along, lee,
But Tom Pearces old mare hath not trotted home,
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

So Tom Pearce he got up to the top o' the hill
All along, down along, out along, lee,
And he seed his old mare down a-making her will,
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

So Tom Pearce's old mare, her took sick and died,
All along, down along, out along, lee,
And Tom he sat down on a stone, and he cried
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

But this isn't the end o' this shocking affair,
All along, down along, out along, lee,
Nor, though they be dead, of the horrid career
Of Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

When the wind whistles cold on the moor of the night
All along, down along, out along, lee,
Tom Pearce's old mare doth appear gashly white,
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

And all the long night he heard skirling and groans,
All along, down along, out along, lee,
From Tom Pearce's old mare in her rattling bones,
With Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney,
Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all,
Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all."

Stop beating yourself up about it! Everyone in the neighborhood knows he is too brainy for his shoes. You gave him four hours family time, and a little exercise. My God, his arteries are singing your praises! Razz

Ps. I believe Old Uncle Tom Cobley uses the name; Gus hereabouts! Laughing
