Good to read so much yabbering going on and everyone seems up on a high note. Sorry about the last few days....hard to keep happy all the time. Feeling much better now. Looking forward to nicer days Very Happy

TThun - ((x)) Glad that you are riding the waves with us girl. Hey, the crew recognise a Beautiful One with a heart-hurt and a shoulder-hurt. All here to pull together to make life a little more plain sailing. Thats the thing about being on a liner - everyone needs a little time to sit on the deck and watch the sunset whilst the rest of the crew get on with the chores - tomorrow's another day and we can weather any storm sent our way - just need a little time to see things through Smile Right crew?

Talking of storms - where is our Stormwatch? Hope she is k and knows we miss our Stormy forecasts Smile

Alex24something - hunni - hope you don't mind but I had to borrow this from another thread just in case someone missed it....

Thought I would share with you for your wedding. Hope you have the loveliest time - don't forget to take pics a? Les Mis is my favourite - seen it 3 times - Boston, San Fran and London (spoilt me) - cry everytime still. My little fella sings Little People - posted that somewhere - maybe repeating myself here - he can belt it out - he's so tiny! Laughing

Right - well, visitors have been, more on way…..

Oh it's so busy lying around in bed all day. Rolling Eyes

BabyBlue - hope you're day is not too busy - make sure the cows are let out of the shed and chase them varmints away! Cool

Mornin' Izzie and all.

Busy day yesterday and today. Oldest daughter is flying the coop for an extended trip. Strange feelings associated with that for mom and dad. Sis is giving it the big shrug, but I think she'll notice the absence too.

Sun is shining in Chicagoland but it's still winter and there's lots of snow on the ground.

mismi -- I saw the picture of your boys a few pages back. They are gorgeous!

TTH - glad things are brighter for you today.

Thank you JPB...of course I think so! Glad you do too!
And she will notice - trust me - she might not admit it at first even..but she will! I know you and Dad will do just fine - though I know you will miss her and there are probably a few fears for her...wishing all to go well -know it will.

Alex I missed the video..not sure how but I need to go back and watch.

Izzie ......

I'm not sure how I could have missed this thread! But I have seen your lovely smiling face around the forum. So as I sit here trying to get my day started, I have been reading some of the posts here.

I hope you don't mind a "babbling brooke" flowing in and out from time to time. Very Happy

I think you are an inspiration to everyone here. Thank you for being a part of this big family!

Hello Brooke - I have seen you around but never got the chance to post to you...Glad to see you here...we feel the same about Izzie!

I think I read where you have labs. Pretty pic btw! We just got a little girl mixed lab and named her Biscuit...she's black - and about the cutest thing in the world. she's a handful...We don't know what the mix is - we saved her from a place that had about 14 dogs there with TWO litters on the way...little sad I think...but we are happy to have her.

Anyway - look forward to getting to know you!
Mismi

Good morning.
An absolute sunny, no clouds, beautiful morning.
Todays intinerary:Breakfast: Carrot juice, peanut butter on toast.
Minimum of two, hopefully much more, mile walk through the marsh.
While wife is at her moms, I'm going to attempt taking our monstrous comforter to the quarter laundry, and wash it for us. Hopefully I can do all the linen, cases, and make the bed, before she returns.
Meeting sister in laws new boyfriend tonight. I won't embarrass her. Cows fly.
Have a nice day.

Hi there Mismi! I have seen you a lot on the music threads! You seem to love music as much as I do. Very Happy I'm sorry we haven't had any interaction before now! Which is most certainly my fault. I get "life busy" and go for weeks without posting sometimes!

I am definitely a lover of Labradors! They are not only beautiful, but they are loving to everyone. Old and young alike. Yet protective of their nests.
I'm glad you rescued your lab. She has a good home now! I'm thinking of getting a chocolate lab come spring. And Biscuit is such a cute name!

Have a great day Mismi! Very Happy

Alex! You sound like an amazing husband! I am so sure your wife is going to be tickled...and take it easy on your sister in law okay?

Brooke - I DO love music...it is a constant around here. Hope you have a good weekend!

Hey JPB - so nice to see you. Smile Tough thing - kids have grown - then they've flown - sis will miss I'm sure. Try not to worry (yh, like I never do...... Rolling Eyes ) - you and PapaJPB will give each other strength to let her fly a litte. If she learns to fly - she will fly back. From the heart - it's often harder for "us" than it is them. Smile Thinking of you and just holding your hand a little to stop it shaking.

Twisting shapes in the moonlight,
I hear the rhythm of the distant Pagan drums
within the hills,
shadows dance in the moonlight
I feel the power of the wise and ancient ones
Now I must go.

By Earth and Water, Air and Fire
With Blood and Spirit and desire,
A fire in my head
I will wear the antlered crown.
and in the forest dance with me,
And in your heart you shall be free,
For I am you, and you shall find,
That you are me.

Beyond the world we see,
Where spirit runs with bull and stallion,
Cross Earth and Sky and Sea.

Shadows cast in the sunlight,
I see my children
turn their eyes towards the sky,
Towards the Sun
Dawn of life in the sunlight,
Mithras, Osiris Dionysis, Herne, and Pan,
We are one.

For Michael - just chill

I am home. Kiddies are in the bed...we had a blast...the whole problem is I have raised my kids on r&b, and pop - dancing anyway...they had a country band...and I like it and can do the Watermelon Crawl and Two Step and Boot Scoot boogie...but hubby and kiddies - not so much. So I just bounced on the sides...while I watched my boys dance with each other and the girls in their class dance with each other...and the teacher try to dance with the boys...and the girls chased my boys...it was hilarious...at one point I was crying I was laughing so hard.

No Hubby wouldn't dance...not a country music fan I guess. I am in a happy place - the food and the wine were incredible. We had so much fun...but now I just want to go to bed...so I guess I will.

I told Dutchy - I have no pics...I ran out of the house without the camera...oh - this will make you laugh. Although my husband did not think it was funny at all.....I thought the wedding was at 4:00 and it was at 6:00...holy cow...am I in the doghouse. We got all dressed up and down there and I was reading the invitation trying to see where she said to park and I read 6:00 pm....we were there at 4:00 - lmbo! I thought we were running late and we were there 2 HOURS EARLY. We went to the coffee house and got some drinks and then to the library and blew an hour...it was fine...but hubby...well...it will be a while before he can smile about this day! I cannot believe I did that...though for some reason my friends seem to think that it was not that surprising...am I really that flaky?

Okey dokey...way too chatty and feel the buzz wearing off...think I will head for bed.

Good Night sweet friends....see you tomorrow maybe - I hope
Mis

Great to hear you had a fabulous time mismi, I've heard of people being late at a wedding but two hours early, that's a classic! Smile
Rest well my friend, I'm sure you'll bounce back tomorrow.
