Hello Izzie, and everybody. Had to come up to the deck for some fresh air. I was getting diizzy down below. Came above to find out that the yabberliner has been operating on a single prop, and doing circles. With no Izzie and Dutchy aboard, we have to find a better way to navigate, than an old twisted shirt tied from the spoke of the steering wheel to the captains chair. I have taken the helm and have plotted a course to a waterfront restaurant known for their scotch and sirloin.

Had to take a little shoreleave today but….

I'm back on the deck - guess what Texas Bubba and I just watched (OMG - I turned the television on in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) - well, anyhoo - we just watched "The Guardian" - AGAIN!!!!!!! Oh…. Oh…. love them!

Well, it's been a bit of a day here - but things are on the up now - first up - thanks all for taking the helm and sailing on thru into the evening. Missy set us off on course this morning and the BEAgle flew in to tell of his billy can tea (was it Earl Grey hunni??) Our Indeedee became Pygmalion free (awwww) - Doctor DEElittle talked to the "Fair Lady" and then she went home to her folks. So - all ended well for the happy ham. Well done to Indeedee - you were a cHAMp!

Our JPB returned from N'Awlins having had a fab time on the jazz scene. So pleased to have you back - but chuffed to bits you had a great time. Our BabyBlue came onboard (oh….missed you Blue). Pleased to see you are still a Master darlin' - and delighted also to see Special Agent Wandel joining you on the deck to give you a hand. Our Dev joined in (have a wonderful time tonite at your daughter's ceremony - be proud of your baby-girl).

Tulip gave us some wonderful news about her son too - girl, you know how glad I am about F-boy - it's the best news you could have got - your heart must be so full right now with different emotions - you know what I mean girl - take the good feeling and run with it for as long as you can. Thanku for the hugs.

Unc came by and did a bit of "twister" with Missy - thinking about you guys - stay in the basement and be safe and well. Hope all is well in your part of the world.

Finally my FQsis arrived - sorry I wasn't around sis - don't worry - not sending up a "flare" - Texas Bubba is here so no worries k. I've missed you. Not long ?'til you catch me up in years hun a? …. Oh…. could that mean we have a birthday girl on Saturday … mmmmmm…. I think it might. Few months older than you - but oh, we are still 16 years old a? Hope the interview went well (course it did). Talk on Sat.

So - finally - as the BabyBlue on shoreleave and obviously lounging around in a half a tub of bubbles (is the bath half full or half empty) - have sent him a PINK bubble machine just to ensure he has plenty of bubbles to blow…

Daughter's ceremony was very nice, a little short and sweet as school functions go. This is our first year in this school and we like it. Spent some time afterward noshing on cookies and punch, meeting more of Thing One's friends and meeting more parents, so that was nice. Thing Two was a little too intimidated to do the baseball outing so he came home after school. Not so much on the competitive athletic thing is this family, but creative up the wazoo! Eldest has already got accolades for her writing and is planning (even at 14) to do that as a career! Mr. Youngest is an engineer in the making, so we'll see where that takes him. After all he is only in the third grade!
I'll be hangin' out on the threads until sleep takes me away, so I could be here a while. We'll see. 'Night to all who've gone below deck for their siestas. I'll just be drinkin' my margaritas in the moonlight!

We had a couple of warnings to watch for them - but none appreared. You just feel you need to go downstairs when the sirens go off...cause you just never know! We are fine Izzie -Thank you...hoping that Uncle Larry has an easy day of it as well.

hanging out here and about. I've got a busy day ahead and guests coming tonight so I should be fluffing and buffing rather than sitting here, but HERE I AM! I'll turn into a whirling dervish soon enough. The good thing about procrastinating is that I get a heck of a lot of stuff done in a very short period of time when I need to.

I work better under pressure...that has always been my saving grace I suppose. I focus and and get it done...otherwise I just float around...or start a million projects and finish none....I think I need to get on some kind of ADD medication someimes....
