Good morning crew the Eagle has returned none the worse for wear! Surprise, surprise the body can still take it after enjoying drinks on the house all night. Arrived at Restaurant at 7pm for dinner only to be told management had overbooked, no table! They ushered us into a comfortable lounge full of apologies and made the offer of 'free drinks', I can tell you the top shelf stuff flowed freely including a bottle of Moet! By 10.30pm we finally were served our meal which was something special. We asked them cheekily if they could 'overbook' us again for next week.

Will be flying around for a while. You all have a great weekend.

RK! luvin' that! thank you - and quite frankly I needed the cheering up...I am sitting here crying into my strawberry lager (which is VERY yummy by the way) because we lost our first game 11 - 12 - totally sucks. Kids were crying (not mine) and oh just a heartbreaker...but I smiled and told them it was an amazing game - and it was. We finally played a team that matched us in the field though. They played great. But OH I hate that we lost.

Gbaby was hilarious...their team has decided they all want the ball...every time the ball was hit there was a dog fight over the ball...big pile of 4 and 5 year olds where ever the ball was...I laughed til I cried. Gbaby was doing the tee tee dance at second base - quite obviously - holding himself and shifting from side to side...a proud moment for me - I had to run him to the woods to relieve himself...highly enjoyable game that one. It really was.

I am about to go get the coals going for our steaks and sit on the backporch drinking my beer while the doggies lick my toes... sounds kinky doesn't it? :wink:

Sorry about the games tho.... breaks ya heart to see them upset, but spurs them on to achieve bigger and better. As long as they had fun... well, that's the name of the game at their tender ages. Love 'em. I was Mom on the football (soccer) sidelines, giving it welly and screaming my lungs out - SOOOOOOOO embarrassing for R-boy at times, especially when he scored the one and only winning goal of the Under 11's League Cup Final. (he couldn't stand the fact he scored it, other than it let them win - bless him)! Good for you to be so involved in what the kidlets do....so important.

My My - what a busy day on our ship today. Crew making time to pop on and off on their weekend - just brilliant.

FQ set sail this morning for our JBeans 16th Birthday. Happy Happy Sweet 16 baby-girl. You're so very loved.

Think there may be a wee head hurt in the morning for my soul-sis - but know she will have had the best time with her family in London. BEAgle also had a big nite out with friends and came home "overbooked" but happy. Good for you guys - it's fab. Missy came by on her way for pastries and our Babbling sent such Happy Feet which made me smile big. Thanku xxxx

Uncle Larry and VBV have both been working today, but we've had tea, tunes and biscuits. Unc went on shoreleave for a relaxing weekend with a coffee to go. Thanku VBV for the great tunes - really did enjoy, keep ?'em coming girlie, sharing your world is a joy. Hope you had a BIG sleep.

Our Rainkeeper came flying by with an Albatross and a missy cartoon. (RK - how's the ankle hun? All sorted?) I shared a pic of my FQ-gal and her hubby-gull! He's the quiet one in the pic - which really doesn't happen very often!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So thoughts for the day! TTHun. Miss you. Stormy - good times with family. Missy - don't do too much. Alex - good luck with the clean up job - remember, no bleach this time and make sure the spoon is coco when you make the good lady a cuppa on her return!!!!!!

Missy turned our 300th page tonite…. and it's left me thinking. I KNOW….NOT GOOD PLAN!!!! However, I went downstairs to make myself a drink and went onto the patio to look at the stars - as I do!!! So, they are just amazing. The sky is black (no-one correct me on that please), the stars are twinkling and there is the most incredible half moon. So, I sat there - and you know, 2 months ago to the day - I had my surgery. Scary time for me. Did it, got thru it, shared it, shuffling now - and look - found a whole new world out there. Thing is, couldn't have done any of it without you guys. Really!

Just today - right now - BEAgle has awoken on Sunday morning DownUnder, Indeedee is with her family and friends, Missy is cooking the dinner for the Dixie-family, Stormy is seeing her baby-girl and family together, Alex is cleaning house in preparation for his lovely wife to come home to, RH-DJ is talking to the world with music and watching us always, WW-WOM will be sleeping and has my baby with her babies, FQ will be dancing the nite away (no snuffling!!!!) and our JBean has turned 16 today, JPB has been holding my hand, Kicky has got a paperweight for an iPOD, Babbling posted Happy Feet, Tai-Chi has a birthday coming up, Vegemite is sleeping having worked today, Rainkeeper has soared in with an Albatross, Uncle Larry is R&Ring at home, EBGirls SET has been singing Neil Diamond, Spendi, RogRAT, Mac, WytVi have been on the threads, Special Agent Wandel, BigRed, TTHun, THOH, IMUR, Jo and LostNFound are on shoreleave and FLAT STANLEY is residing downstairs with the Clotted Cream Fudge for the Texas kids. Finally, BLUE/PINK are….. BLUE' n'PINK ing.

HOW COOL IS THAT?

All the crew, all over the world - doing their thing, and sailing with "The Black Pearl" which brightens all our days. Just how cool is that? Yeah, yeah - I know, I'm a soppy, sentimental gal - but it's pretty darn cool methinks. I've taken such huge steps in my life in such a short space of time, it's like the blink of an eye - and actually - this Motley Crew has emerged and become a family just sharing their worlds. It makes me so happy to see everyone here.
