I'd send on some suggestive pictures of myself but my last camera is receiving treatment for PTSD and the one before that is still getting addiction therapy at the Betty Ford Clinic. Keep smiling Dutch!

Our dear man is going through a tough run again it seems, however, I will try remaining optimistic as he has beaten the odds and naysayer doctors in the past.
Most grateful that he at least doesn't have physical pain, although as was noted the mental toll can be difficult for him. Hope that some of us sending waves of positivity towards him will help. He's a good man and an important part of many lives, both here at A2k and in his Australia as well as elsewheres I am sure.



Thoughts always with him.

Good Evening, (((Crew))) mates..

I'm pleased to say the photos and messages cheered our Danny up no end

I hand wrote your messages onto the photos and read them out one by one, as well as the messages without photos.

Danny had the biggest smile on his face looking at each one and hearing each message given.

"You will give my best wishes on Yabber Line, won't you", "off course".

He laughed over Mismi's. Wide smile. Saw beauty of a soul in another and thought the photo was beautiful, told me all about the dancing of our queen and loved that too and smiled big over Von's Dog and her words as to why she choose that photo.

Anna and her son visited him this morning. He has visitors all weekend. He's resting a lot, sleeping a lot except at night which makes sense he's no longer tired.

So again, Danny's best wishes and thanks to all the (((crew))) it made his day, thank you.

I hope Dutch got a glimpse of Holland beating Australia at T20 cricket in Bangladesh. Watching it I must have thought about Dutchy at least once an over. Even more during the Aussie collapse.

I spoke with Danny first thing this morning - he sounded much better than previously and it is stable at present - on the 02 - but stable. He's sleeping nearly all day but perks up briefly when visitors arrive - especially those bearing freshly cooked fodder for him <thanku KP>

Anna is looking at a Nursing Home today but I don't know if it will be an appropriate care facility with the dialysis specialisation for our Danny. He desperately wants to be in a room on his own - quite understandable.

However, he is sleeping most of the time so I'm not sure if he's able to see any TV - but I'm sure Anna will be keeping him up to date, fer sure.

He was soooo delighted and wished me to express his gratitude to all the crew for all the messages and photos and I do believe he has kept them with him and it makes such a difference hearing from folk... thank you all so much for keeping in touch.
