Where are mismi, verbivore and other contributors, do you realise the Yabber Liner is drifting aimlessly and rapidly becoming a ghost ship?

Hi Dutchy, you're right about the Yabber-Liner drifting aimlessly - we were without our beloved Bosun for so long that things just started to fall apart. Any longer and it would have deteriorated into a wreck like the poor old Duke of Lancaster!



Now that you're back, perhaps the crew will start to pull together and start scrubbing and scouring the decks, polishing rails, touching up painwork - and generally getting rid of all the signs of neglect. Be great to see the Yabber-Liner back to her old self - looking forward to piping you on board!

Ah great to see you Captain and all the other crew members having jumped aboard since my last post!

Well as they say 'all hands on deck' and we'll get the old rust bucket underway with a decent refit.

I shall start by refilling the 'cellar' with the necessary refreshments to keep you going when you have worked up a thirst.

We're floating again and I'm happy about that. Where are we heading? I'll await your submissions on that.

Maybe we can have an evening in the theatre room, checking out the beauty that you create............whilst Bosun decides which direction we are going.

Not long now ... soon be totally ship-shape, provisioned up, and setting sail to some exotic destination - glad to see you Izzie - which direction?

Vonny how do you expect me to get the Yabber Liner ship shape when I'm being distracted by crew members in bikini? Sophy, the one on the photo, continuesly insists I paint her cabin and keeps telling me I'm the handsomest Bosun she's ever met. So far have been able to resist her advances but there is a limit. Please guys come and assist me this is not a one man's job. Once finished I intend to set sail to a tropical island. So girls don't forget to bring your bikinis. Ahoy my maties, bring me another bottle of rum

Dutchy, we wouldn't expect you to do a thing! Just sit there, looking good, and twiddling your Bosun's cap - there's an army of volunteers at the ready to swarm over the Yabber-Liner and get her ship-shape!

Thank you for that Vonny, the Bosun can now concentrate on Sophy and teach her the ropes of sailing

Morning Crew

Just hearing of the NSW fires Down Under. Gosh, devastating for all affected - and this during your Spring.

Autumn has taken hold here and it's verra breezy outside, trees are turning colour and leaves a' falling - it's a weekend ahead to get a big 'ole snuggly blanket and watch a movie with the kid (after the garden has a haircut if the rain holds off ).

Poor 'ole Murphy has been a tad poorly (bite abcess - naughty naughty tumbling kitties) but the vet has seen him right and he's now improving. Gotta go back again tomorrow to check that he's cooled down (he was terribly hot) and ensure the anitbiotics are working and then Maddie's booked in to have her nails clipped on Monday. Bless her - she doesn't let anyone touch her nails and has verra peculiar quicks

As they do, snuggled up... (not that Maddie has much of a choice - she has to be thee most tolerant pooch in the woild)
