@Stormwatch,
Here's hoping that the only runners you see this season are beans! Good luck on the return to work - I hope you've got a batch of chill kids.

So very glad he came through this part and hopefully this'll be the end of his medical trek and now he can return home and get back to the basics of life which he loves so much...and his lovely Anna as well.
Thanks for the update Izzie!

@FOUND SOUL,
Hello my dear friends, a slight hiccup in my recovery at home, back in hospital again but hopefully not to long. Once again I caugh6 a hospital bug during my last leg by-pass operation a month ago.

The wound in my groin became infected and wouldn't heal. The Vascular Surgeon put me straight back into Hospital after taking one look at it. They operated on me yeste5day by re-opeing the wound and cleaning it all out, took 2 hours.

Today I feel ok, the Doctors have been and told me the operation was a success, they put meon a course of antibiotics and all going well should be home by the end of the week.

Thank you all once again for sending me your love and support it makes me feel humble to know so many of you care for me. I'll be honest with you I was pretty down on Friday night when I was admitted, but a phone call from the Captain cheered me up no end. (((crew)))

To top it of my son and grand-son flew in Saturday and surprised me with a visit which changed my ootlook for the better.

Lastly while I'm typing this the lovely FoundSoul and her fiancee dropped in to see me, a real surprise, thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule Foundy.

Waves from downunder, the Bosun.

@Dutchy,
Strewth Dutchy - you've been on a real roller-coaster ride with your health over the past few months! Rolling Eyes My nerves are frazzled - goodness only knows what Anna's are like - highs and lows, highs and lows, highs and lows ---- phew, so glad it's all ended on a high! Don't do this to us any more - we want some plain sailing from now on - a nice smoooooooooth trip, in calm waters. Very Happy

So glad the hospital have rid you of their nasty old superbugs - tell them they can keep them after this. Twisted Evil Get well very soon - your crew are ready and waiting!

@Dutchy,
You're not fooling me you bloody malingerer. The ship's gone to pot since you've been taking it easy, the deck chairs need hosing down, and a couple of the heads are blocked.

So grab a plunger and get back to work.

PS. Welcome back mate.

@mismi,
Hi dear mismi. So pleased to hear your Dad is doing well, he will be around for many more years to come! I had my quadruple by-pass in 1997 and lived a good 16 years after that until this year when I received 2 more by-passes and a new heart valve. Still not my old self yet but I'm getting there, walking is my problem, can get around with a walking frame but aiming to throw that away before long. (((mismi)))
