Oh no, not Bigsy!

I felt like I knew that cat.

So very sorry, FS. But happy he was with you at the end.

@Dutchy,
Thank you so much, everyone....

Glad to hear F(Man) is doing well and your daughter is flying safely Izz and that you had the best day Danny.

And, that you spoke to the "Boss" Izzie.......

Bigsy, .... What a cat huh... A little ginger 9 month old there abouts, walking the streets following a cat owner, all the way home, despite that she turned around and tried to leave him.. His second Mum, haven't told her yet. But, she had cats and well Bigsy being a boy fought with them and he ended up next door to me, 3 doors down.. But, those idiots locked him in a cat carrier over night with no water and never fed him, asked me to take him to RSPCA, instead I fed him, and he slept outside on a comfy chair, covered when it rained and his second Mum would come and get him if it was too bad weather wise and let him out in the morning. D is allergic to cats.

One day, I had to bring him in, just had to... D fell in love with him, cheeky as this cat was.. He braved it all, probably had well obviously had 7 lives gone.

His second Mum found him one day, acting very strange, called a friend and took him to the vet, saved his life. we had given him flea treatment, only small amount but it was for dogs. Who knew that the treatment wasn't the same ingredients.

From there, he was allowed in more and then we moved.

Well the little thing had to stay inside for a week, and from there, D just vacummed more, though the past couple of days, he'd been feeling the irritation of cat fur and we had talked about other medication to help him and to leave Bigsy out more.

We recently before going away got a cat door for him. He had his ways.

If D was massaging my shoulder too hard and I yelled, Bigsy would too and then come over to see if I was alright. We tested it, because it seemed weird and yep he did it again..

Bigsy, would box with you. If you said sit, he'd sit. He'd say "mum" or at least we'd laugh because it sounded like that. And, Milk, well a completely different noise for milk than a normal cat cry..

Remember "Little boy blue and the man in the moon" I sang that to him last night at the vets. And, just then when we layed him to rest.

He would love that, make a little noise, move in his little bed and go to sleep.

He just learnt how to totally win over the dogs, cancer recoverer and diabetic... he'd lay down and be submissive and they would just walk past him, he finally got to the stage he could even walk near them when the ate. Smart cat.

He was causious of cars absolutely. We never in a million years thought that would be what would take his life. But, I guess this car was going faster than he anticipated as he came home at his usual time 7pm to remain inside all night and all morning...

But yes, like Missy and Jet, we were there for the end.. Holding him, talking to him and singing to him.. Why that happens I don't know.. It's so hard but yes, blessed...

I pray now I guess that it's a long time before the two others pass...

I am just glad we were both there for him.. But, for sure, so sad, too hard.

Anyways..... LOVE you Bigsy heeps and thank you again everyone.

Just spoken to the kid on Skype, bleary eyed from lack of sleep, and a bit of a nightmarish journey, but she's arrived safe and sound......Phew.

@vonny,
It was, particularly the long gap between Zurich and her final destination. She got separated from her travel companion, still doesn't know if he's made it Ok, and fainted on the railway platform. Fortunately she was sat down at the time. When she spoke to me it was 5pm their time, and she'd been awake for approx. 36 hours.

F-man has gone back into theatre - he's been having a few probs with his lung no reinflating and has a build up in fluid so they need to sort that out. He wasn't very well yesterday with sickness and so forth and needed some extra fluids, they've got him on various meds to help with pain and ick. Tulip is being incredibly strong but all healing thoughts would be appreciated at this time. Bless him - such an ordeal for one so young.

@Izzie,
Poor F-man - sad there has been a setback. But, hopefully, the lung problem will soon be rectified and he'll soon be on the mend again. My heartfelt good wishes go out to him now - and Tulip will be in my thoughts until we hear all is well.

@izzythepush,
Thank you all. Tulip has just txt to say they are...

just back in, he's in a lot of pain, drain's in place and lots of fluid coming out. On O2 and nebulizer as he had an asthma attack. Long night ahead.

Tulip's totally exhausted.

Such a worry - though I know this complication is within the realms of norm with the surgery he's had - just, I so wish they weren't going through it. I know the docs there are the best for paediatric cardiology, that's why there up in Southampton. They'll take care of F-man - I do worry about Tulip as this is such a tough time for her.

She's strong tho - she's amazing actually.

@Izzie,
Thanks for the update. You are right, it's a very tough time for Tulip - so much new worry on top of the old. I guess all we can do is hope, and pray, that all will go well for F-man, and that Tulip will remain strong and resolute. Bless her - not easy!

@Eva,
Ms Eva,

Bigsy loved being a part of your kitchen especially eating up all the left overs Smile

Strange, that I chose him as my avatar after all these months, finally working out how to add one................Guess he's here for life Smile

Thank you.

@FOUND SOUL,
Izz, 36 hrs, is too long tell her she has to sleep on the plane.. when she comes back, here's hoping she'll drink lots and lots of water and get lots of sleep and enjoy herself.

Prayers - for F (Boy) man, and Tulip... It's very difficult seeing a loved one in pain, stay strong Tulip... I know you will.

Mismi, Osso, thank you... For sure, but none are replaceable we all know that, and we will not ever get a cat again.. After so many in my life, Bigsy was "the" cat.. But, if he wants to send a little lost one our way, we surely will take that little one in, as we will know it's from Bigsy.

D has decided to get a Dog. From the shelter.

Though his heart is breaking too. We know too well we have two more beautiful creatures here with us, but off course they are 10, diabetic and recovered cancer sufferer and we are well aware of that "one" day and I don't think we can fathom that from what we've gone through if it was you know .. So the little dog, we are going to save, will keep them young and playful, probably make us laugh and smile.

I know it's early. But, we are going to do it.. We'll mix all the names together, and come up with one, starting with B.
