@FOUND SOUL,
Hey KP and Crew
Wooooooootwoooooooooooot! Yep, just been giving the bosun some orders and yeeeehaaaaaaaah, he is on top of the world right now.
I must tell you all about Son of Tulip - he is doing amazingly well - the surgeons replaced his aorta and managed to spare the valve - the night before there was talk of other things they may have to do and it was an agonising wait for both Tulip and son. Tulip is just incredible - strong, the best MaMa, and has been with him throughout. It was a 6 hour op (instead of 9 hours) and Son of Tulip has been moved back to a high dependency ward out of ICU and has come around, is talking and has even managed to text Sean. He's in and out of sleep at the moment and hasn't got up yet - it's a very large wound and that will take time to fuse back together and repair itself - but I am so delighted to report that when I spoke with Tulip last night - everything is looking very good and hopeful. One of his lungs hadn't re-inflated so he was having just a few problems there but he was managing a lot better last night. I can't get hold of her this morning so no further sitreps, so for now, please do keep sending healing wishes their way and thank you all who have been thinking of them.
Danny sounded a completely different man today - the weight has been lifted off his shoulders and thankfully, we won't have to have him go to extreme lengths to become theee best pirate in the world by having a wooden leg
Though we may have to call him Jake
until the stent gets that blood through his leg. The procedure will take place next Thursday (all going to plan) and it will mean him spending a little while longer in hospital to recover - maybe a few more weeks... fingers crossed all will go as it should and he will be able to return home. His son has been to visit and has kept Anna company so that is fantastic.
KP - he was so happy to see you and D - it made all the difference and has boosted his spirits incredibly
Vonny - I hear that you have the all clear from the docs - so pleased for you and hoping you can now move forward with your life
Letty - I heat too that your hip has healed - I'm so glad that you are now pain free and that the docs could sort your hip out.
Sooooooooooooooooooo it's GREAT news all around for our sick-berth residents and I do believe the well wishes and encouragements, healing thoughts, prayers and posivibes make a difference. A little bit of help from your friends can make the burden a whole lot lighter - thank you ((((((((((((((((((Crew))))))))))))))))))
(((Boida))) - thinking of you and knowing that all is not easy for you in NoooooYawk right now - sending you all love from across the pond xxxx
Missy - love you baby girl xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ZyP - and yer girl kiddo - good luck young lady - wishing you all the best on your time in China
and hoping Annie is having the best time with her grandparents.
Love all this happy news and catching up on the good news around the board.
School is out in less than a week - I.cannot.wait - for more reasons than one! It'll be time to chill (hahahahaha, it's 30 degrees here - not so chilly in fact it's verrrrra verrrrrrrra HOT) and to spend time with my piece of heaven. C'mon the summer holidays - 6 weeks off school - woooooooooooooooohoooooooooooo!
Shooting off now, gotta do some schlepping back and forth and forth and back - our poor garden is struggling in the heat and having had no rain in... weeks!!!... (feels like months) - not sure how long we've not had rain but it's been a long time of BIG temps for the UK. Our river is a "trickle"... no longer a river and only just a stream - so lovely to put my toots in to cool down though - very blessed.
Thinking of you all -
each and everyone of you
Near and far... love xxxxxxxxx
