@annis,
Thank you Annis -

I hope you get to feeling better soon. It does sound like you need a break. Take care of yourself and let us know what the doc says.

@mismi,
Healing. And waiting. Be glad when I get the all-clear from my doctor or the hospital. Meantime - great to have A2K to keep me occupied!

Wonderful news about your father. You must be so happy and relieved.

annis for sure stress.... Don't stress it, everything will be OK... Though I wish to personally find an excellent pillow, one that allows me to never wake up with a stiff neck again....... Then my days also will be less stressful.

Vonny, ya doing magical, very proud of you..................

Beautiful sunny day today, must make a note to finish work and walk along the beach, something beautiful about water, sun, sand...... Calming.

@mismi,
Miss mismi, that is good news about your dad. So good to read it.

Annis, take good care of yourself - test out the beetroot and see if it helps you.

Thinking of our Bosun and Cap'n every day and checking in ... so good to see crew members appearing onboard ... is it the sunshine?

@izzythepush,
I underwent a detox regime earlier this year - nothing but beetroot, celery and carrots for three days (juiced on day one, brothed day two, steamed day three). Also stopped smoking. My blood pressure came down signicantly although, ironically, my wifes' went through the roof!

Dear sweet folks, how absolutely wonderful to be back on board what has become to be known as:
The Flying Dutchman; a legendary ghost ship that can never make port, doomed to sail the oceans forever.

I would like to tell y’all how much I missed all y’all and to set the record straight…

I never said I was contemplating banning Vonny for her desecration of the late Prime Minister of England Margaret Thatcher. The Constitution gives her the right to free speech; no matter how reprehensible I find her views.

What I actually said was, I was thinking of excommunicating all UK ‘Guardian’ readers and if she was in their number – so be it.

For those of you thankfully unfamiliar with that Communist propaganda sheet;

KGB defector Oleg Gordievsky identified prominent Guardian editor Richard Gott as one of his agents. While Gott denied that he received cash, he confessed taking benefits from the KGB on a visit to the Soviet Union.

Gordievsky commented on the newspaper: "The KGB loved the Guardian. It was deemed highly susceptible to penetration".

That is how I nose Mimsy ain’t in the KGB!

As y’all know, I am the very last person to stirrup mirth, so I will be riding along now wishing sick folks well and prayin’ that God shows benevolence towards Guardian readers and Fox news viewers.

Oh, and before I forgot; the cat is learnin’ the two step – thankee fer askin’.

@Tryagain,
Try, try, try, good morning .................................

Good morning crew...as well, today the sun is indeed shining and I intend to get out in it.

Shall, visit Mr Dutchy early next week as I (HOPE) that will be his final week, and that he has been walking the miles of the corridors so that he can walk from A-B at home and go home. Will report then...

Try, all i can say is seriously . POOR PUDDY CAT... But at least he /she can still walk and that is a blessing.

@FOUND SOUL,
Hi crew, a short note from the Bosun. Still in Hospital. Yesterday an independent body of Doctors assessed me and agreed with the treating Doctors that I'm not fit to go home yet. As of next week I'll be transferred to another specialist rehab hospital for a few more weeks (could be 6 weeks). Feeling ok, and with my adjusted glasses am able to read again. Best wishes to all.

@Dutchy,
A collective sigh of OH NO has just gone up! We'd all hoped you'd be home and dry in a week or so. Ah Dutchy, our poor Bosun, so long away from the crew. But great to see you here today - even if it is a fleeting visit.

Glad you can see - hey, spectacles are a great invention - will that mean computer access? Or are the orders to keep from stimulation for a while longer? Mustn't over-stimulate you, must we? Razz Rolling Eyes Laughing

Good luck at the specialist rehab hospital - a fresh supply of nurses for you, Dutchy, you've worn that lot out at the old place!

@Dutchy,
an on-line on-board Bosun with adjusted glasses ... a sight for sore eyes (and a reminder that I need new glasses as well - looking stylish just isn't enough - being able to see is important too)

@Dutchy,
It's so good to see you back here again, Dutchy. Smile

I'm sorry your hospital stay will be extended again, but I hope you'll be comfortable at the rehab facility and able to make good progress there.
