Hello Captain, the Bosun reporting for duty! Firstly my sincere thanks to the crew and other a2k members for the many pm's, e-mails and post cards I have received during the past 3 months during my hospital stay. I was totally overwhelmed by your interest and concern. I had several visits from Found Soul and her fiancee who spoilt me with some goodies. LOL A special mention is due to Izzie for keeping in regular contact with Mrs.B and so kept you informed about my progress. I'm not out of the woods yet and am still in Hospital gaining strength and learning to walk again. Sofar I can manage 25 metres with the help of a walking frame so that is a start, not enough to chase the many beautiful nurses though. LOL My son has left me his lap tap to use so I can answer my e-mails and do a few posts. He and the family flew in over the weekend surprising me, it was wonderful to hug my 3 grand children again. Once again bless you all for the wonderful support you've all given me. The Bosun.

I can't tell you how good it iz to see you DannyBoy! I have been smiling all day (FS let me know you'd tried to PM). Now, just don't you be doing too much by trying to reply to one-and-all - just take your time and concentrate on getting those legs moving a little. We've been keeping the Bosun's quarters spit-spot and whenever you're ready to settle back in to a sail, just you let us know. So very glad we've got ship-to-shore communications back up and running...

When I was little I used to dress up in dutch clothes all the time.

Sore and swollen, but bleeding has stopped so I guess I'm going to live! Can't type properly 'cos can't lean forward for 48 hours so will just 'hover' this evening. Thank you, everyone, for the good wishes - it helps lots!!!
