Yes, today is our wedding anniversary. Suffice it to say it's a long, long time ago - seems like yesterday though! Hippy days - happy days! Had a beautiful floor length gown and train made into a micro-mini and got married at Hampstead Register Office - that was the fashionable thing in those days!!!

Erm but, down under makes me feel like i am up-side-down, does that mean I eat the Easter Bunny from the bottom up

Now I also want to see which wedding dress Vonny wore As, in close to....

We had a Bentley as opposed to a Rolls - and my train was as short as my dress, but yes ..... picture no:2 is pretty spot on! It was all Quant, Sassoon and flower power, with the Byrds on pirate radio and Flowerpot Men urging us to go to San Francisco ..... happy hippy days! We met in August of the 'summer of love' ('67) and married seven months later on a cold but sunny Saturday in March of '68. Seems like yesterday!

It was sunny and verging on warm yesterday. Snow is promised/threatened for tomorrow!



Easter Parade starts down the road in about 1/2 an hour. The Cleodog is too old for adventures like that now, so we'll stay home with her where she is warm and comfortable.

Thanks Izzie - the hat's just right - very 'me'! But a tad early to wear a summer bonnet in the UK perhaps? I'll put it to one side until I'm sure the snow has departed these isles and spring has finally sprung!

Somehow, someway.

I was hoping and hoping but Danny's Computer is the issue and the wifi. It was not able to be fixed....... He will have to purchase another one when he gets out.

And, plan B didn't appear to work either. The Nurses tried all weekend, and the technical people yesterday to get the Hospital TV/Computer working which we gifted 2 days worth but alas, it seems that doesn't seem to be working either........................

Shall keep trying to work something out, from Down Under ......................where there is a will there is a way, right!
