@Izzie,
What they above said
A little news.
Message to YABBER CREW..
"HAPPY EASTER - GIVE MY LOVE TO ALL " from Dutchy.
Ms Anna called and Dutchy agreed to us getting him a Computer expert out, off course we can't until after Easter...
So....... After organising the Computer guy (MONDAY) Aussie time, fingers crossed, I rang Anna to ask her to take the broadband stick with her ....
So, D and I decided in them meantime, to at least see if we can give him a TV for a couple of days.
We were told by the Hospital to attend, use our credit card and whalla.
So, we attended gave him a bag of small Easter Belguin Chocolates from everyone here, to share with Anna but he said he was going to hide them, I warned him I'd call her and dob, he said "you wouldn't"...
Well his TV which we then found out whilst there has a keypad and Internet ? Was stuffed...
The Nurses spent half an hour trying to log in... All the while Dutchy was told by them that they needed to check the TV not advising what we were attempting to do... We ended up having to leave, leaving some money to see if they got it going in the end.. Alas, as I type it appears not.
HE LOOKED FANTASTIC, full of energy talked for ever, was alert, happy and just missing his Computer.
Anna, knew that too but laughed that he won't do any crosswords.
So, fingers crossed the Computer guy WILL get it all working. I discussed where we were at and what I thought was the problem and he agreed, so it should be simply taking a sim card out of the modem that was put in from the broadband stick, putting it back into the stick and configuring the computer to it. I think that he was given 1 day free internet from the Hospital so it was connected to the Hospital..
HAPPY EASTER ALL.
Be wary, I think he can type a bit more now
