I was mesmorised viewing the ice on the twigs of the trees and the fences, the shapes, format, and how close Izzie got to capture them perfectly, so beautifully... Wow. Is all I can say.
IDK either how you can remember "everything" Izzie, with everyone Thank you, I be doing fine...now when I sneeze, it just feels like a pull. I may have sold my house, tricky situation.. But, I need something more that doesn't feel like I just work alllll the time, so I decided to add recycle and new clothes and jewelery into my shop of makeovers. Now I feel at home
It's been a month gosh now since Missy and Jet left. Little things still happen every now and then as if they are reminding me, they are still around... Time helps..
My diabetic is getting old now, Kia... I have to alter her food. She lost 4 kilos after Miss... and got old very quick.. Dogs know Vonny .. So I chace her and play and she looks young again, even the vet said so. Now to get the food intake working better for her due to her age...
Izzie, Vonny, it will get better I promise..
Sending Aussie hugs to anyone that needs it .
Danny, will call you in the morning as promised....The day of your new beginning. Hope you are feeling better today.
It's an Aladdin's cave! Wonderful. A veritable cornucopia of delights!
I've started to give Megan carrots instead of biscuit treats, and added a lot more cabbage and other vegetables to her daily feeds. As a greedy Lab, heading for 10, we need to keep a constant watch on her calorie count. Not easy, she has begging off to a fine art! And lots more exercise to take her mind off Harvey. Night is the worst time - her bed was next to his and she always lay with a paw stretched out to him - his empty space seems to take up an inordinate amount of room now.
Whoa, what a description Thank you... It adds a bit of "fun" .
It's funny, I added spinach and then was quickly advised by the vets that dogs can not have spinach it will kill them. They have me giving "both dogs" as Ruby just completed chemo and is a recovered Cancer Dog, broccoli and carrots and kidney beans with brown rice and lean chicken, cooked.
I'd google cabbage Von, "just in case".
I wonder if you bought a nice high pillow and put it down with a small clock that ticks (just like puppies need that in replacement of their Mom, it sounds like a heart beat) for the interim whether that would help? Otherwise, changing his bed position?
Vonny you made the right choice, this is the beautiful Maslin's Beach, tailor made for a dark skinned English maiden. Forget about crumpets I shall serve you a typical Aussie BBQ with all the trimmings laced with either a cold beer or any of our fabulous wines. I shall pitch a tent for you as to much sun all it once may be a little to much. No doubt Found Soul will come along to keep you company and sample some of the wines with you. I may add she is a fabulous cook and will enhance the BBQ with some of her famous salads. Bon appetite.
PO McTagger, I would sure like to know what happened iffn' you wish to share.
Well I'm not being reticent but it's a long and boring story I'll willingly tell you about later. The magistrate deferred judgement until he has reviewed the papers again and he'll write to me within seven days with his judgement.
It's so bloody stupid that I think I'll write an article for the Guardian about and offer it for publication. It is a Kafkaesque tale of a malfunctioning ticket machine, a dark day of pouring rain in November 2011, a shortfall of £0.35 or actually nothing, fourteen month duration of madness, threats of bailiffs to enforce a £85 fine, and a total waste of many hundreds of pounds of public money.
The Circumlocution Office has got nothing on this, believe me.
Cabbage duly googled, and find a debate, cook/not to cook! To clean teeth and bulk up diet (Megan is a big Labrador) I'll give 20% raw with her complete diet food. Broccoli's good for humans, so will add cooked - ditto green beans and carrots. She'll still have carrot sticks instead of treats. Good luck with Ruby - glad she's completed chemo successfully.
Oh good - at last I'll be able to use a phrase I long ago heard on Flying Doctors - or was it Neighbours - 'throw another snag on the barbie' - oh how I've longed to say that! (Hope that was it!!!) And drinking some of the 'amber nectar' - a la Crocodile Dundee! Guess if I carried on like that I'd be ejected from Maslin's!
Seriously though, it does look very beautiful. Are dogs allowed on your beaches? And Found Soul's culinary skills sound legend - mmmmm I can smell the aroma already........

@Izzie,
Is tennis played on the Yabber-Liner? Great exercise for the crew.
Murray seemed to be in peak condition when the game commenced, but Djokovic upped his game superbly and was a worthy winner. Always next time!

@vonny,
Waves (as Dutchy would say) at cap, ((((IZZIE)))) who is just as bad as Dutchy and D, tennis, tennis, tennis..............................................although definately would be good on board, how many balls would we lose?
Vonny you learn something new every day, cabbage. Who would know... Though a little google myself and I note red cabbage is better ....a little more googling and a (WARNING) Of what cabbage does once eaten and erm, the air that will come out of the dog Hope your bedroom door is open at night
Dearest Dutchy...............................GO GET EM, whilst today will be boring sitting around in Hospital..... so they can ensure you don't cheat and eat a piece of cake .........Soon you will be walking with a sprint in your step.. And, no more pain in your chest.... With all my love, wishing you a speedy recovery, and as I have said all along you will be OK... Call you soon.
Ms Izzie will hold your hand, the rest of the crew the other hand, and I'll fly around on my broomstick and keep an eye on you, especially when you feel a little better and your eyes start wandering towards the Nurses Then be ware, the broomstick sometimes falls on thy head, not mine either
Tall nets! Very tall nets perhaps! And a Labrador at every corner - they'll mop up any spare tennis balls far better than any ball boy could ever do.
Haven't noticed Eau de la Cabbage yet - but we've learnt not to close doors after Megan's eaten! Will try red cabbage.
Dutchy - you are slowly introducing me to the delights that Australia has to offer, so don't be too long recovering - need to see a lot more photos of places like Maslin's Beach - and I still have a lot to learn about life aboard the Yabber-Liner.
Did anyone notice, the England ladies netball team completed a 3-0 whitewash of the world champions (Australia, sorry) at the weekend?
Well done, girls.

Our BOSUN is now having a snooze at the hospital and being pampered by the nursing staff.
Had a long tawk with him last night (apols, too late to post then). The 26th was a bit of a rough day and he didn't fare too well. However, he had a quiet get together with family siblings on the 27th and a couple friends for a quiet breakfast thismorning (Mon morning Oz time) and then tootled off to the hospital where they will make him comfortable night and get all the necessaries done... and then an approx 6 hour operation on Tuesday (tomorrow).
This will involve a double bypass (if it's possible to do the second one they will and that is PlanA) and replace a valve also... then join everything together and into recovery and, if all goes to plan A, , a new lease on life.
The expectation iz that he'll be in hospital for a few weeks and the recovery at home will be lengthy. It's not going to be easy... but the will to live is in Danny's heart and he vows he will be doing everything to get back on the deck to dance and he 'aint gonna give up
I'll be keeping in touch with MrsBEAgle (will be phoning her Wed) and between FS and I, we'll let y'all know how he's doing. Please keep your prayers, good wishes and positive thoughts heading his way.
His G-kids will be visiting this weekend and keep MrsBEAgle company, which is great to know. Son has gone to sea but they are able to keep in touch with a satphone.
Our Bosun is now on official shore leave and I'll be keeping y'all in the picture.
So,hoist the sails crew, we're off back up the coast to check on Margo (how ya going gal? huh huh huh?) and then oop North to ensure Hingehead is alright in the cyclones. (gah for Qlanders)
>ps. many thanks for all your kind comments re photos... unfortunately, I only had a 10-20wideangle lens which is not the one to be using for macro shots... but I just had to capture the ice, it was beautiful<
Does not matter you are a born photographer, they were/ are , beautiful photos.. Kept me staring for along time.
Mr Danny seems to go just that little but more in depth with his situation with you 6hrs, he never told me that. What he has told me is how he is in awe at how well you go right into detail and tell the story exactly how he tells it... Therefore Captain, whilst he said he is sure I will add, I say, this is your journey with Mr D, as it is with Miss and Margo and actually everyone here Captain, you capture, give light and get it back.
As for FS, she will also check with Anna, hear and there, will report when she visits in a couple or so weeks time, when allowed. And, come here. And read your up-dates Captain.
..... 2013 and late 2012... So much anxiety and pain for so many... Just wish I could somehow express, as I also had so much pain, that it will be OK and we move on, forward, keep believing, memories.
I'll leave it at that.
Hugs.

@Izzie,
Just a couple of rate-busting, performance enhanced lunks slugging it out for cash prizes. And then moving on to the next venue probably sitting next to each other on the plane.
Give me Oldham beating Liverpool, in atrocious conditions, every time.
