Oh, as far as the bikini goes - well, beneath the piles of scarves, woollen hats and woollen jumpers, fleeces, parkas and fur lined boots, I do believe the bikini my grandmama knitted for me way back in 1890 is mouldering - may be a bit moth eaten by now, but waste not want not.

Rebellious, moi! But no, mon capitan, a willing crew member in the making, just waiting for you to resume full duties and I'll be there tugging my forelock and saluting my cap with the rest of them!

Good Morning all.
I need a volunteer to help me put my lights and siren on my new truck.
Any volunteers?

Is it warm there? We're at 14 headed for a high of 23. You're on your own unless it's at least 70 there.

Scooble-hoobles is now resting beside Ryan's camelia. He was put to sleep this morning.

We're not coping very well... but he's no longer in pain or suffering. There was only one decision that was right for him. When we woke this morning I knew something had happened in the night and had to pluck up the courage to tell Sean before he saw him... Scoobles was alright for an hour or so, but suddenly got very sick and the vet came to house, in what seemed like just a few minutes. That happened so quick. That was a few hours ago now, I think. The vet sedated him and I held his head in my hands. Sean sat beside me and stroked him until he went to sleep.

He was with us for 14 years. Feel so sad. As we buried him, the sun briefly came out. I'm glad he no longer feels any pain and he will be part of our garden, and hearts, always.

I'm so very sorry. Holding you in my hands.

Izzie querida, Breaks my heart. My father used to say that is was an unkindness of nature to not have our beloved pets live as long as we do. He was right.
