@Letty,
Hey LettyBettyLetty - I didn't know it but it had my toes tappin', so thank you.

If I didn't know better, I'd think we were on the Titanic Shocked ... I swear there's gonna be some icebergs in my river before long.

Gosh, it's so hard to believe that time is passing so quickly - 13 already! Sean will be 16 in a few months! Shocked

Man!

It's so good Annie can be in contact by email. I have to say, being able to skype with K-bro (out there in the not-so-nicest-places-to-be) over Christmas was just fab.

Bless Annie for writing to her Grandfather - that will be so lovely for him.

I also just heard from DannyDownUnder and he'll be off to see the surgeon in a few hours. The CT scan will take place now after he's seen the doc, so, next time I jump onboard, we should have a good idea of what/when it's going to happen. It's gonna be a scorcher in Adelaide today, 42 deg... good golly!!!!!!!!!!!

Danny - all positive thoughts for you. Sending (((((((((((((((big ones of these))))))))))))))) and lots of these good beats http://www.mydisplayimage.com/aim/premium/anim_heartbeat.gif from here to there... xxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh OH OHHHHHHH...

my apols... the problem with a dateline is... we're talking different days each night... well, I know what I mean!

<so sorry for misinformation... slaps wrist>

Danny DID have the CT scan and it was the renal review that couldn't take place due to cpu malfunction.... so he has had the real important one for the surgeon and will be leaving to go their shortly. Just had a lovely chat and he's sounding good, quite chipper ... sounds of tired and not catching his breath... but it didn't stop him having a chuckle.

MrsDanny will get him to and from and the nurses will chair him up and along corridors so he will not have to exert himself too much physcially... mentally, welllllll.. that's a different form of exertion, but he is prepared and wants it sorted.

So, onya go Spring Chicken, with our love and best wishes and if you're are bavk home in the morning, will call again around the same time and we'll sit with and Anna and share a cuppa morning tea. (put the percolator down and step away from the kitchen Wink

Love you DannyBoy... holding your hand... and as you know from all the above and well wishes, strength in numbers.

We iz with you...

nighty night folk, I have a quick date with David Attenborough in Africa, we're off the the congo and there's a rather nasty looking spider on the box... it's MAHOUSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it's been on pause waiting for an hour... I could have stopped it at a better place... but then HOW FLIPPIN' BRAVE AND I!

Okedokey, y'all have a good afternoon, evening, and morning.

Good wishes and prayers to Danny, Boida and our Missy... and I think RH could do with a few too. Jump onboard when you can Rock. No-one has to be alone.

Sleep tight... I can see some bugs that bite... I LOVE A BIG BUG AND I SO LOVE DATING DAVID ATTENBOROUGH IN AFRICA (very pleased not be in 3D in this particular instance... http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/smileys/no-no-smiley.gif?1292867644

Hi Guys!

Daddy goes for chemo on Friday. He shaved his head today because his hair is falling out now. He is chipper and quite the good sport about it all. Love him so.

I may be going down on Saturday. I have a few jobs coming up at the school and have been asked to come on part time to care for one little girl who is new. She is none too happy about being in a new place and is a bit frustrated with me since we are learning each other's "launguages". She cannot talk and is so unhappy with me right now. But I have no doubt we will be fine soon enough.

My dearest Dutchy and his Sweet A are in my thoughts every day. The boys are praying too. They find it odd that I have a friend so far away that I have never met face to face but I told them that the world is an amazing place these days. Or it can be. Wink

Hello Vonny! Glad to have you. Good to see all of you on board.
Hugs to you all
kisses too!

@mismi,
Eyes to your dad, Mis.

Thoughts too to the little girl. How old is she (approx)? I was a slow talker, which goes to show, eh?

@ossobuco,
Thanks Osso.

Well...when I say little - I exxagerate. She is mentally disabled and will probably never be able to talk. She is 16. We have had some good moments the last couple of days. I have gotten a couple of smiles. Made my day. I french braided her hair yesterday. She hated that. But it kept it out of her face. It is like silk it is so fine - so it slides right out of the hair band. Oh she fussed. But I did not have to mess with her hair the rest of the day after doing it.

@firefly,
<late for work so just quickly posting to say>
Danny says:

Heart Surgeon and what a lovely man he was, he gave me all the confidence in the world he will improve my quality of life! He could see how I was and said we can improve on that, if I knew I couldn't I wouldn't do it. .... <snip> I certainly feel very confident with him. <snip> Because of my age and previous operation he said I give you 95% chance to pull through this big operation <snip> it may well involve two by-passes...

<snip>
As I thought he would set the date as well for the operation. I will go into Hospital on Monday 28th January and the operation will be on Tuesday morning 29th. So now it is full steam ahead. <snip>

This is GREAT news for our ((((((((((((((Danny)))))))))))))))) I can see him smiling from here.

11 days now to rest and relax and conserve his energy. He will also get to spend time with his family and will be able to see extended family before the operation.

The 26th January is a day ingrained on some of our memories.

Yes, Australia Day too

But the 26th is also time for remembering our loved ones... for Danny, Tulip, Me and mine.. and...

Personally, I am most glad that Danny will be able to be with his family on the 26th and can go into the operation on the 28th with renewed vigour.

<gotta dash, late for work>

((((((((((((((((((((((((Missy))))))))))))))))))))))))) you are so wonderful ... love you girlie, will write you when I get back from work. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Margo - will be so so happy to hear you are going home today. Talk soon girl x ((((Margo))))xxxx

Talking of WONDERLAND....

it was SNOWING ON THE WAY TO WORK.... yayyayayayyyayay... then it stopped Sad The UK is going to be 30cm white fluffy stuff on the West Coast tonight and tomorrow... apparently, Devon and Cornwall are going to miss out - oh noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Surprised <gutted>

I

Hey ho! Mr. Green

FS - ahhhhh, well I understand the cut and paste, it's hard to write the same thing and keep it personal too... bless my girlies whom I write to tho, we have 3way conversations by cc'ing so that is happy. Razz

I do hope that your rib is healing well and that you coped with the 42 deg yesterday. Gosh, cannee imagine that heat right now, we iz down into the minuses (and we're the warmest part of the country at the mo!) Take care of yourself and I hope you can get to visit with Danny soon, I know he will love to share a cuppa with you when he's a little more rested. xx

Missy - thinking of you girlie. Such a difficult job (job seems the wrong word, but you know what I mean)... Tulip helps special needs kids and is utterly fantastic with them, but it is tiring and very hard work. Just like Stormy, folks who work with our children can make such a difference to their lives.

I wish someone had been able to help my son long term. It was not to be.

Always do what you do Mis, you are an incredibly loving and compassionate lady - YOU make such a difference in the world and those whom you touch with your heart.

Thinking of PaPa for his next round tomorrow. Please kiss his forehead for me when you see him. (((((((((you and yours))))))) xxxxxxx

Taggers - how's the Nipper doing? Is there any pain relief in his back yet? Take care in the snow and I hope FiB's folks are OK and managing with the cold. xx

Margo gal - will speaky very soon. I do hope you're home now and taking it very carefully and that the aircon is working! I'm working tomorrow so will give you a shout at the weekend. <scritches Possum> ((Margo)) x

Have a date with my sofa and a faux-fur throw. Mr. Green Must zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... oh.so.tard! <yawns>

Nipper sore still, no great improvement I believe. His mum spoke to him today. Waiting to see specialist. It's his birthday on Monday too; he wants a Kindle.
Thanks for your good wishes. Take care in the snow. We're to have a quantity tomorrow.

@mismi,
Thanks for the warm welcome. Lovely to bask in a bit of borrowed sunshine - so cold here in the UK. I'm new to the Yabber-Liner, but am trying to catch up with past posts - wonderful crew! Your job sounds rewarding - hope the girl with the braided hair is happier now.
