Hi Crew!

Just made it home from Mobile. Heard a song I haven't heard in a long time on my drive home - totally forgot about it. But they are going nuts over the championship game tonight down here. So everything is about Bama.



So - Ala Freakin Bama

I have been with Mom and Dad since last week. Dad is doing amazingly well. He is very weak, but is so much better than he was at Christmas. He is not hurting like he was - so we feel pretty sure the chemo is shrinking that nasty tumor. But we won't know until next week. Then the next week he will have his second chemo treatment and I will go back down there to help mom out for a couple of days.

I loved being there with them though. I got to cook and clean and take care of them and it made me exceedingly happy.

I have not caught up with my reading though I hear concerning news about my Dear Dutchy and surgery - thoughts and prayers are with you friend. And Wandel's famous daughter is obviously doing her daddy proud! And then there is a wet t contest that I managed to get involved in somehow. I am such a stinker sometimes. Naughty me.

I am pooped and am doomed to a night of more football...I shall grin and bear happily for all the men folk in the household...I am ready for baseball season though - I must tell you. Just signed all the boys up yesterday. Very excited.

Hugs you all...I Love you Izzie. I am going to ping you soon - need a talk with my dear friend.

The Bosun will be permitted to have a bed bath by his dear Mrs.BEAGLE (that iz of course, if he behaves - if not, this duty will be given to his blue brother, Mr T R Yagain, whom, I believe enjoys bubbles in the bath <how he get's those bubbles, you will have to work out for yourselves>

Spoke to our Danny Boy Down Under (and MrsDanny) a couple minutes ago... he sounded tired but good, anxious but strong with everyone's well wishes that he's been sent... he'll be off 't hospital in an hour and then hoping to have a big sleep after the angioplasty - little sleep and a few complications with the dialysis over the last couple days).

Not sure when they are doing the main op - open heart surgery hopefully it will be today (they may go straight ahead) and this will give him less time to feel anxious and the tricks the mind plays whilst waiting... but it may be tomorrow, depending on what's best for the man and the results of the angio

Will be talking to MrsDanny tomorrow morning OZ time... so, well wishes heading Down Under and ... much love and the biggest hugs (which we did down the phone) to Mr & Mrs xx

Spoke to Mr Dutchy last night He was so pleased of all the PM's, emails, phone calls and was upset he missed you (((((IZZIE))))), so , so, glad you got to speak to him this morning, he said, "with my spirit and you holding his hand, and all here, he will be OK and he knows it. "
