I hope that everyone has had an enjoyable Sunday and have spent time with loved ones, friends and "good folk". It's been a quiet day and plain sailing on the ship. VBV, Indeedee, RH-DJ, FQ, WW-WOM and the Bear have all crewed today - thanku all

We welcomed new crew aboard recently too. Imur, Flavour Queen and Rainkeeper. It's so wonderful to have crew join this ship and make life plain sailing.

I believe there is a game going on right now…and as I am not 100% sure about Baseball - I decided to read up a little on our Stormy's Sox!

Well looks like I have sold the second and last motorbike - Triumph. Many tools have gone and some clothes. Had a chinese take away last night and and a cooked dinner tonight. Walked in the snow twice but it is all melted to nothing now! Hope I wake up to some tomorrow.

Verbivore I would be on that plane tomorrow given the choice! Bear, you have kept things bobbing along as usual.

Good morning all. Beautiful sunrise here this morning so I went for a walk way down the back of the property (huffing and puffing by the time I came back up). I am better just still have a residual cough but my lungs are clear. He gave me an inhaler said it looked a bit like asthma - so we will watch it just to see...said the albuterol will shrink the bronchial passages and help me breathe better.

Crew - PILLOOSIFUCAL.....PHILISFIIICAL... PHILOSPHICAL <---- that's the one head on for a few minutes....

There are times for all of us, when we step back - often, it's needed because we are hurting in some way but sometimes folk step back because they fear it could hurt others if they do or act in a certain way.

For example: if a crewmember is poorly - I believe crew then find it hard to jump onboard to sail a ship - and even tho laughter is the best medicine - when you have a real bad head-hurt - laughter can sound overwhelming. If it's a heart-hurt - it can be nigh on impossible to step up and climb the rigging.

This ship, "Our Black Pearl", I hope you will all agree, has "peace and safety" surrounding it too - even in the stormiest seas - as long as you hold and trust your beliefs - then the crew who are sailing her can hoist the sails, and the crew who just need to sit "aft" to look out to sea and feel the rain and wind on their face - to feel as tho they are "living", then that is where they can find their peace.

I was sitting "aft" briefly, but having stepped back, and being a little unsteady with my "toots", nearly fell overboard and couldn't quite catch my breath. Fortunately, "The Guardian" heard my voice, quietly whispered his protection, didn't let go of my hand, and now, I am back at the helm trusting and believing as I do that this crew is the very, very best and we voyage into the unwritten future.

So, for the special crew who allow my tagline to share in their lives…

Crew….it's incredible that tho we don't know each other in person, we care and worry about our shipmates wherever they are, whatever they do. When one of the crew is sometimes in the dark - the crew step up to give them light. I guess that's what you call FRIEND-SHIP!
