@Tryagain,
You are forgiven, Tryagain. I agree with the philosophy expressed by Milton Berle. All humor is public domain. Jokes told today are variations of jokes that are centuries old. The very first joke was told by Neanderthals. It involved two men and a sheep.

Sitting near a warm fire eating some of M's lovely fish being a Friday night. The Bosun had a busy day so will put my feet up and will watch the Football on TV whilst Mrs.B serves the coffee and my favourite treats.Wink

Man, how did it get to be Friday already? I needed to turn the lights on to make coffee this morning and the school buses start running here next week. Gotta make the time to enjoy what's left of summer!

@Letty,
Nice!

I just heard buses drive past the house and thought they must be doing their practice runs for next week. I checked the school calendar and now see that they started on Wednesday of this week. Yikes! Summer is slipping by.....

@Izzie,
Morning Izzie, was a beautiful day here after the rain from previous days. Mrs.B took me out for a drive and a nice cuppa with cake down the beautiful wine region south of us. Monday is going to be another beautiful day so will sit lazily in the sun and let the world go by. LOl

The government in Berlin has begun to plan for what it sees as a hugely significant anniversary in 2017 - 500 years since Luther began The Reformation.

He was protesting against indulgences, a controversial attempt by the Papacy to solve its fiscal problems by persuading Europeans to buy absolution from their sins …

So save your euros Taggers old chap, it would seem an acquaintance from Germanic regions speaks very highly of you; in fact all sources sing your praise. I therefore propose to follow Izzy’s most magnanimous path….. providing you divulge the whereabouts of Pandora's Box!

JW, my dearest friend north of the Mason Dixon-Line, I had hoped you would not mention the sheep incident again; the Feds dropped the case when Bo & Peep failed to testify!

I’m also somewhat perplexed as to why when you saw JPB’s bear you called the cop’s?

If I had seen her bare, I wood have grabbed my camera and waited for something to develop!

I hope y’all who have been watching ‘Hear Comes Honey Boo Boo’ on the TLC cable channel about a sweet o’le Georgia family from McIntyre; are as outraged as am I that the network is putting up sub-titles so English speakers can understand what this Americana family is jawin’ on ‘bout.

Dear Roberta, you were absolutely right to remind folks of your talent, I hope the trickle becomes a stream.

Have the best week of your lives crew.

I have a talent? I mean which of my many talents are you referring to, Try? I'm mystified.

@Dutchy,
When I walked into a specialist wine and spirits shop in Amsterdam on Wednesday, they had about twenty bottles of wine infused with schrooms. When I looked on Saturday there was just one left.

@FOUND SOUL,
My friend is 6' 7". We were in a lift in the hotel when a tiny Chinese woman got on. She pointed at him and said, 'You me, two.' At first we thought she was trying it on, then we realised she meant he is as tall as two of her. Once that had been established she spent the rest of the descent pointing at him and laughing.

I'm afraid that set me off, as it did the other bloke on the lift. My mate was well pissed off though. 'Why don't I just stand outside with a hat at my feet and see what I make?' He won't make much in Amsterdam, but a possible career move to Beijing is on the cards if all else fails.

Are you telling me the Dutch are still piss-pots in this day and age? Bad enough when I was living there, in them days they drank Tulip Gin and Cheese Beer like it was going out of fashion. This is one of the reasons I came to Australia which is known for its sober habits when it comes to drinking. Smile

@Dutchy,
I don't think it would be fair on the Dutch to accuse everywhere in the Netherlands of being like Amsterdam. I did buy a bottle of laudenam there though, and I suspect stagnighters bought all the schroom wine.

@FOUND SOUL,
He is tall, but not enough by our standards to make him freakishly tall. If he went to China he probably would be.
