@whiteviolets,
Hi all, Dutchy is back, feeling wonderful after some clever work by my Cardiologist and tender loving care by some pretty nurses. Smile

I have sent you all a PM thanking you for your kind support, even FOUND SOUL for exposing me. Laughing

The only one I couldn't reach was Firefly. On PM'ing her I got the following message: "In order to prevent mass-message spam, we limit the amount of users you can send messages to. Please wait an hour before sending messages to additional members." Will make up for it Firefly!

Will be back posting shortly.

Waves from Downunder.

@FOUND SOUL,
Hiya Found Soul, glad you got yours but I still can't send the other two, and I have now waited for over 3 hours!

Thank you for the welcome home, great to be back I can tell you, and feeling so much better than when I went into Hospital.

You'd be excited too if you were in my footsteps. LOL

@Dutchy,
You can send more once the other ones have been opened/read. I read mine so you have at least one more you can send now.

Happy to see you back and feeling so chipper!

@JPB,
Hi JPB. Have opened 3 more PM's just now but still can't send any PM's myself. Get the same message to wait for an hour, well I've waited over 7 hours now and they still won't let me sent any p/messages!!! Very embarrassing as I want to thank each member individually but I can't! Posted a PM on msolga's thread so at least I was able to contact her that way. Not good enough in my opinion and the powers to be better look at the statement they made because it is totally misleading!

Also dedicated a song to you on WA2K radio. Just glad that you are better and getting up and still turning that windmill.

@firefly,
Hi Firefly. Still can't send you a PM, unbelievable! Anyway this is the PM I sent you, the only way I can communicate with you is here LOL
"Hi Firefly, have tried for nearly 24 hours to send you a PM to thank you for your expression of support on the Yabber=Liner. For some unknown reason the powers to be have banned me from sending PM'S, hope that finally this one will get through. Went into Hospital because I had another blockage of a major heart artery. The Cardiologist managed to open it up and treated the artery wall with a special substance which should keep it open. Rather quick procedure this time with no after effects like the last time. In one day out the next, now home recuperating and feeling quite good.
Cheers Dutchy."

@Dutchy,
I'm pleased to say I have received a satisfactory explanation for the delays from the a2k support team. My main concerns was answered as follows: " In some cases, that may take longer than one hour so the error message could indeed be misleading. I have reported your concerns to our development team and this is something that may be changed or fixed in the next version of able2know."
I'm grateful they saw my point and will do something about it, it is an issue that can affect any of us. Thank you support group.

@Dutchy,
Nothing wrong with communicating here, Dutchy, and I admire your persistence. Smile

I'm so glad that this procedure was fairly quick and that it left you with no ill after effects. I hope your recouperation continues to go smoothly and that all of this is now behind you.

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, I'm sending an entire bushel your way to help keep you feeling well.

I stayed in my pajama bottoms and tank all day yesterday. I cleaned the house, painted my bathroom ceiling a pretty blue/green (don't ask me why...I just wanted to) and put J's shelf back on the wall (into studs this time) - last time it fell and I ended up having to glue several of his trophies back together. Annoying. Thankfully he didn't care. Smile Love that about him.

I got a shower then put on another set of jammies...The Professor said he was glad I had finally decided to change from pj's to pj's....Then he asked me if I was ever going to put on "street clothes" again.

I do my best work in pajamas.

Anyway...I feel reclusive right now. And I am okay with that.

Hugs to you all! Have a wonderful weekend!

BTW - Great Britain has done such a wonderful job of the Olympics. I have enjoyed them so much! Beautifully done!

Hugs again.

@annis,
I love wearing Pj's and not getting dressed and just working from home for the day!! Dressing up is for going out right? Smile

I so miss gardening too, whether is still cold, brrr and why would I want to garden at the moment ? The gardens have so many sour sobs to pull up grrrrr.. I only said to Dutchy today, (planning ahead) can't wait for the weather to change I miss gardening, well that also means planting plants and watching them grow into beautiful shapes and colours.

Thanks so much, mismi!

I am one of those who were quite cynical before, and not very engaged.

The dynamism and quality of the whole thing has been revelatory. Everyone here has enjoyed it so much, and we are pleased and not a little proud that it has been so well received in other parts of the world.

We do care about you, you know.

Looking forward to a good closing ceremony, now, and before that maybe another medal or two.
