@Izzie,
No football for me, there's a film on Channel 4 about robots. And he's watching it on Channel 4 +1. I'm not too bothered, Saints aren't playing after all.

@annis,
Yup, a lovely day gives a lightness of being, especially after all the drizzle and cold. Fed calves and kids at the activity farm today. Not my photo, got it off the internet, but it sums up what goes on quite nicely.

@mismi,
The Toad in the Hole looks good. Reminds me of what I know of as Dutch Babies. (I'm ignorant about yorkshire pudding; like popovers; figure they are all similar.)

It is, wish I'd taken it. It looks like a school trip. I'll pm you a recipe for yorkshires, I tend to go by eye though.

@Dutchy,
Your mention of Cervantes on another post put me in mind of an interesting bit of trivia. Both Cervantes and Shakespeare died on the same day, 23rd April 1616, but they didn't. Cervantes' death is according to the Gregorian calender, but Shakespeare's is according to the Julian calender.

Yay! I see the mighty Welsh have done it again!

I have a Welsh friend, who, the last time he was here, gave me a fridge sticker with the Welsh National Anthem. If they beat Australia I have to stand up and sing it! Fortunately, we knocked them out in the World Cup..so the world was safe from my singing for a while longer!

Listening to McTag's programme and rocking along!

@margo,
<bleary eyed> Morning Crew Very Happy

6.30am start - good golly MzMolly...little fella on the bus and man, neither of us wanted to rise and shine this morning. Oh my!

Missy - hope you had a great weekend with the boys and they did well in the tourno. Let us know how you're going Mis - been posivibing for y'll out there in 'Bama. x

Margo - wotcha Sheila goil! Wales were brilliant - but so were England. This years 6 Nations has been exceptional IMO. S-boy wanted to know when we going to playing Oz,NZ & SA... I told him, when we get to the World Cup we'd have you on the line when we're playing Oz. He talks of you often and when something happens he says "d'ya remember when Margo did this that or the other" and then imitates your laugh! Makes I smile, it does! Hope all is good Down Under and ... thank you for not singing - two of us lalalllaing and the world may spontaneously combust! Love to you, Possum and Aunt. xxx

IzY - did you watch the match in the end - went to penalties (not that I saw it, prefer a little Ice Dancing meself Razz Was nice to hear the Liverpool anthem being sung around the stadium tho when they showed it on the news. Glad you got to the farm with your young man - know he will have loved it. Have a good week mate. xxx

BEAgle - the rain and mizzle is back today and it's grey grey grey - gosh, it was so beautiful yesterday. Little fella cooked us a big dinner which was the best - and he also did quite a bit of revision for his upcoming exams. Nearly at the end of Feb and we woke this morning to daylight, so love the mornings when it's light - but had a late night last night so getting up was a real struggle. At the end of March Tulip, kids and I are going to see Phaaaantom of The Op-er-a (unable to say that without singing it...lalala) - can't wait for that, it's gonna be amazing. Have a good evening Down Under and big hugs and love to MrsB. Hope M is able to get back to terra firma soon with a big catch. xx

Tulip - hope S-girl is feeling better today. I'll talk to you tomorrow... try and get on that website and don't worry about the interview - you'll do your best and it's a massive step you're taking, especially in the College... so I will be virtually holding your hand all day. Don't forget to take a packed lunch... will give you something to do in the staffroom Wink xxx

Osso - good to see you - hope all is well in ABQ and that you're getting to spend time with Lady Di. Our poppies leaves have been fast growing up from the earth - makes me think of Bob every time I see them. Must go take a pic for Lady Di.

Boida - thinking of you goil - loved seeing your smiles t'other day and that you went out with the Mensch, that was happy reading - hope you had a good weekend. x

RH - hope life in KS is being gentle and Gram is fully better now. Take care out there. x

Taggers - your community spot was superb - you did a grand job. x

(((Blue)))xox you and yours... always x

Love to y'all ((((((Letty, Bethie, JPB, MaMaV, Alex et al the crew)))))

S'okedokey - off to go get a haircut in a little bit and have a chinwag with my neighbour that was. They've sold the house so, if it goes through, I'll be having new neighbours - young family I believe... gosh! They are building their house on the moors (farm at Lydford Gorge) which started a few weeks back - very excited for her, her eldest son is an architect and designed it... and now it's all happening so will be fab to go and see. Best take my wellies methinks.

Thinking of those near and far...

x

@Izzie,
Good morning Izzie, just reporting back on board, all well down under. Nice evening, sitting outside on the patio with Mrs. B sipping a rum and coke. Lap top handy to do a few posts. One of them balmy nights wearing shorts only. Hope you and S-boy are well. (((Izzie)))

@Izzie,
It must be nice having a young family move into a new house that their son designed. I hope the family isn't too young, otherwise it might look a bit like this.

I managed to see a bit of the football, just enough to see Kenny Miller squander the best chance of the match.

@Izzie,
Ima go in the morning and get my new truck rolling, then go take gram a lamp in the afternoon. her reading lamp shorted out and I made her unplug it.

It has become an A list priority now. and a hamburger as I go. so she won't have to cook. and a frosty. chocolate...

Murphy reminds me of gram's molly. verra fluffy. she's bigger than stinky. I had no idea when I found her that she would get hugantic. who knew???

but gram loves her...

enjoy your day, captain. Ima crash now.

smiles...

@izzythepush,
Oh no, I didn't make it clear at all...

My neighbour moved out a couple years back and the house next door has been on the market, but they've had various tenants in there (some not so good ones). The new neighbours will be a young family by all accounts, if the sale goes through.

My neighbour, C, moved up to the farm and her son, who is up in London, is an architect and he designed the house that's now being built on the farm. It's going to be an amazing farmhouse and the views over Lydford Gorge with the moors as a backdrop... well, too stunning for words. Just. beautiful.

I do miss my neighbour so - she is lovely - so it will be nice to see her in a minute and catchup.

Kk, off to make tea - toodlepip y'all... enjoy your days, avos, evenings Razz xxx
