Well...we lost our second game as well. Though not as bad. The boys each beating themselves up in different ways about their parts in the losses. But it was a beautiful weekend to be outside. Mild and breezy. Made it a bit chilly but the sun being out so bright and the sky so blue made it quite a happy thing.

I have been asked to interview for the director of a local senior center. I am thinking about it. It is a bit out of my comfort zone. But I think I would love it. I enjoy older folks so much. The crankier the better. But no word on the other job. A bit frustrating since I was told I was the most experienced and their first choice. I find myself a bit puzzled. Then I sent a resume' over for a music teacher at a local school. Haven't heard anything back from them either. Truly just confuses me - all of it.

But - I have committed to be happy where I am. I am volunteering for the local angel food ministry - I take a months supply of food to 4 local families and that makes my heart light. It's what I used to do and it makes me happy to be able to return to it and to help those families out as we can. I really have missed my volunteer work, so this is fulfilling in a way I haven't felt in almost 2 years. Planning on tutoring english at the local inner city academy. Have talked to their administrator. So I am not lacking in things to do.

I need to go get to work. I think mom and dad are coming back down for G-baby's choral concert tonight. I hope they can make it. G-baby will be crushed if they don't.

Sorry too about being let down with the job... it doesn't make a lot of sense really - the only thing I think tho, is ... the opportunities presenting themselves to you may possibly make you happier in the long term. I love your food ministry thang... you will be making a difference Mis with your voluntary work... really, a big difference. Let us know what you decide about the Senior Centre - ha! I know you like cranky geezers... you would be great there! You never know, you may find someone who has a "bucket list" that you could help with - whatever you do Mis, you will bring sunshine with you... whether young or senior... you'll make 'em smile!

Yep Stormy - what's the news on baseball? I was not too torn up over last weekend. At first I was just so surprised. It looked like they were back in their t-ball days!

I am working on my ideas. The hard part about self employment is self motivation. I would much rather be helping other folks than working on that stuff all day. I think that's what I liked best about my last job. Some days felt like I was getting paid to help others. I love to do what folks tell me. Great indian - sorry chief.

Morning everyone. Has anyone done anything special on this 'free' day. I've got free tickets to Disneyland Paris. Trying to book a hotel and a ferry is a bloody nightmare. In order to get a discount I have to apply for a loyalty card, but then have to wait 24 hours before using it.

A lovely sunny day~! There was I in interviews all day, am so shattered! Did I get the job - No! but I was the student choice! and came 2nd! So many questions were asked! My head is shot!

There was a lull in the shooting so I took the opportunity to come visit with all y’all. I did want to leave a message for JW but when I mentioned it to Izzie she said she had already had her photograph taken with him; I of cause immediately commiserated with her and as she had her camera with her, I thought I would repose artistically in the hope I could make it to the cover of Vogue. That dream was shattered when a brace of cops came outta the diner and ordered me to put my pants back on; Izzie never even noticed, but then I guess I needed a longer exposure!

As y’all know I like to come aboard every leap year on the off chance that some cute chick with big bazooka’s may want to pop the question! In an effort to cast my net wider this year; that’s fish net, not my fishnet tights; I am willing to go to second base.

I knows what y’all are thinking; what do I who only has a few hectares of poor quality soil have to offer a suitable applicant! Well, I don’t want to wine about it because by a stroke of good fortune those acres happen to juxtapose the holdings of The Port Authority of New York.
