Oh that sounds interesting, but I can't make any promises because: God decided to take the devil to court and settle their differences once and for all. When Tryst heard this, he laughed and said, "And where do you think he is going to find a lawyer?" Laughing

Running along now folks - hope you have a good day or rest well!

Went to the Dr. I have Bronchitus again...apparently once you have it it comes back easily - and I can't seem to get rid of it - may be all this pollen too...very dusty - makes me want to sneeze just to look at it! Oh but the flowers are beautiful...I will have to take a pic.

I am going to lay on the couch - my neighbor has the kids so I can rest. Take care and I will see you all soon.

Ship's Log

Hey Crew. Smile

It was fab to see our WW-WOM, Special Agent, VBV, Mismi, RH-DJ, Indeedee and the Pink Guy on board today. Thanku all for being here. Missy - I hope you are feeling better hunni. Been thinking about you - it does take a long time to get over - you must rest girl. K! Bear - we miss you xox

What a lovely day it has been. It was a beautiful morning and a day for visiting the NewChezIzzie. The mailman arrived as we were leaving and I received the most wonderful surprise in the post… Razz

MEET "FLAT STANLEY"…………….. Shocked

http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/2104/p1010583km8.jpg

Now…. Who is STANLEY… Question

STANLEY is a friend from America. He was sent to me from the little son of Bubba and the Kelmeister-Girlie in Texas. He is being sent around the world on a voyage of discovery. BabyBubba has requested that I show STANLEY around my world and then post him back to BabyBubba's classmates in Texas with some prizes from England. Surprised

SOOOOOOOOOO….

Off we went….. STANLEY JUMPED IN THE CAR…..He was so excited (didn't quite get the driving on the wrong side of the road…but hey, he'll learn how the Brits do it over here…

http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/2715/p1010533jg0.jpg

STANLEY AT THE POST BOX (thought I better show him how we would be getting him home)!

http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/7345/p1010530dc3.jpg

STANLEY AT THE TELEPHONE BOX (in case he needed to phone BabyBubba on his journey)

http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/351/p1010532ax8.jpg

STANLEY bought the Texas kids some Dartmoor Clotted Cream Fudge from the local Post Office. Razz

http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/8467/p1010587oh3.jpg

Now how strange was this….. our PINK BOY crewed today - he let the cat out of the bag and admitted how Pink&Fluffy he really is - such a MIGHTY HONOURABLE PINK BOY. Very Happy He offers generously always TRYING to do the right thing by the girls….

Well….LOOK WHERE STANLEY VISITED EARLIER IN THE DAY…. Shocked

LOOKY HERE……THE CHURCH! He was visiting to show the Texas kids our little church in the country…. Well, how clever was he in his PINK shirt…

http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/7089/p1010534vw9.jpg

How did he know that PINK was thinking of honour before PINK had even posted about it… Question

Later in the day we found another Honourable Pink...

http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/294/be11200ai4.jpg

Honourable Pink Wedding Dress
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
• Commendable for any special events
• Elegant and simple
• Made of imported chiffon
• Preparation Time: 10-15 working days

STANLEY THOUGHT HE MAY NEED TO CHANGE HIS TIE FOR ANY FUTURE CELEBRATIONS… Exclamation

http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/540/p1010525sx5.jpg

(So girlies, may need to go and buy a hat soon a?) (giggling here - JUST HOW SCARED DOES THAT PINK BOY LOOK NOW A? CHEEKY GIT Twisted Evil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Anyhoooooo…. STANLEY then discovered the most amazing stone….dated 1749. (He wanted to give the Texas kids an idea of the age of the church and the history that England has.

LEW TRENCHARD is chiefly notable as the parish of the Rev. Sabine Baring-Gould (1834-1924), one of the best known of all Devonshire 'parsons, who was rector here for 43 years. He was one of the last of the "squarsons," a hymn-writer, theologian, antiquary, novelist, and musician, who published over a hundred volumes. Among his many achievements he collected the old folk songs of Devon and (with Cecil Sharp) published them. His two volumes of Reminiscences are very readable.

The church (St. Peter) is mainly an over-restored 15th century building. The woodwork is, however, notable. The medieval rood-screen was destroyed by Baring-Gould's grandfather in 1833, but Baring-Gould collected the fragments as a boy and had it reconstructed in 1899. It is a fine example of modern carving. The pulpit, modelled on the ancient pulpits of Kenton and Launceston, was added in 1900. The church contains some carved Tudor bench-ends, and many of good modern workmanship. There are several Gould memorials, mostly incised slate slabs from the early 17th century onwards. Lew House and estate were bought by the Goulds in 1625. The house is partly of that period, but was much restored by Baring-Gould out of the proceeds of his copious books. The Dower House by the river Lew is dated 1664.)

http://img239.imageshack.us/img239/331/p1010556ch1.jpg

STANLEY then visited LewTrenchard Manor - he loved the fact that whilst being shown "history" there was an Aston Martin DB7 parked out front! Razz

http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/6601/p1010574avd7.jpg

STANLEY then came to Chez Izzie for a family meal….the final meal at this house for the girls…… PANCAKES!!!!!!!!!! The kids love to make pancakes and STANLEY just loved the way we do pancakes!

http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/3622/p1010578zf6.jpg

STANLEY also took the Maddie-dawg for a walk with Charlie (love her my soulmate)

http://img396.imageshack.us/img396/5507/p1010580gu7.jpg

STANLEY did many things today! K folks - now you're all probably thinking the screw really is loose….. Laughing but we had so much fun doing this with the children. I'm sure the kiddies in Texas will see a little bit of my world and hopefully……………smile.

STANLEY had some laughs today and I think he would also like to be an HONOURARY crew member aboard our ship. How happy is that. Very Happy

So crew, I'm on the Insomniac Watch for a little while and am making a cuppa if anyone would like to join me on the deck.

I'm smiling big! This day was one of those real special ones. It's been brill.

Lovely crew - I hope that all of you have a good day and that tomorrow will be great for you.

Crew - you are the Best Very Happy

Hi Izzieliz, what great photos and looks like you had a ball. It's going to take you a while to wind down I think. Luuuv the area you live in. Gorgeous kids.

We are having extreme extreme winds here at present. Branches down - skylights of the big shed are coming off - have banned papa from the shed and shut the doors and made him come back to his flat where it is safer. I had trouble staying vertical. Dutchy must have got this yesterday.

Soooo I had better have a cuppa.

Hey Indeedee Girl - would you like Earl Grey Tea with milk....

Oh gosh, yeah - winding down is gonna be hard - it's 20 to 4am and tho Charlie and the kids are soundo I just don't want the day to end - mind you, I never do really. They seem to whizz by these days despite being up for 20 out of the 24 hours. Charlie and the girls go home tomorrow so it'll be a quiet day here - may need to rest up a little I think - but today was so worth being tired out and aching for if that happens Very Happy

Please do keep PaPaDD in - bless him - he doesn't need to take a tumble. Think settling down with a nice cuppa and a DVD would be a much better plan a?

Don't ya miss that Bear.... I'm so used to talking to him every day - he's going to be getting grizzly not being able to talk to everyone - love him - he'll be picking the leaves off the gum tree and chewing them over. Hopefully he'll be back on-the-liner in a coupla days tho.

How's the "toot" by the way. Still bruised Question

Have told myself I have to switch off the laptop shortly - whether I will remains to be seen - I have NO discipline at all! Very Happy

Take care in the "winds". Stay in and safe girlie.

Toot is okay now - can finally put on heels again with no pain. Yeah miss the bear but I don't think we should let him know - his head may get too big for him to balance in the tree.

Yeah - and if he falls out - he'll be a little sore..... and won't be able to cosmically soar! Rolling Eyes Bless him - I do miss the Bosun.

So - as you can see - discipline is not my forte and time is moving on rapidly - must go to my berth and meet my dreamcatcher - enjoy the tea girlie and I'll see you soon. Hugs to PaPa and MaMaDD and (xox) to you. Smile

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING WORLD Very Happy

VBV hunni - thank you so much for taking the helm - what a star. You've sailed us into a new day and the seas are perfect for a good voyage ahead. I think a little Bear may be back with us veeeeeery soon - the Bush Telegraph ship to shore sent a Sea Eagle friend to let me know that he's back online and will be with us after he's caught up with all his deckhand chores. It will be good to have him sitting on the deck with us again.

So - it's a gorgeous day here. So busy with lots to achieve today and still just taking small steps - but getting there slowly and surely.

Will be around on and off - may need to spend a little time in my berth - so if crew can take the helm - HAPPY DAYS!

Thanku VBV - hope you're day is a great one.

Lovin the crew Very Happy

Hello my hearties the Bear is back. They have been the longest three days in my life, not being able to communicate with my ship mates, I was totally lost. Our problems have been solved and it will be plain sailing from now on after I catch up on a bit of reading.

So pleased to see our Captain spent some lovely days with her life time friend and guess a lot of 'yabbeing' took place.

Verbivore thank you for that lovely picture of me you posted the other day, but you were barking up the wrong tree when you said the Bear had been naughty, that is yet to happen. I know you're on board somewhere so better be ready as the Bear is on his way for a little 'talk'

DDXX missed you too but will catch up with you soon, likewise with all the others as well. Please give the Bear a little time to find his feet.

Greetings shipmates and our newest member FLAT STANLEY. What a day he seems to have had, I am sure the kids back home will be delighted to learn of his travels. I hope those on the sick list are improving, and did you all notice how speedy the system was when the long wire to OZ was under repair!
