@mismi,
it's ouchy

I definitely learned a lesson. Hopefully that's the worst Friday the 13th does to anyone.

Isn't the pic lovely ... in the back room, where the bookshelves are - all the prints are of women or girls reading ... very mellow in there

Hiya McT.

I am touched and heartened to be remembered by someone this morning. Thank you, dear lady.
Good morning, all.
We have clear, bright, cold weather here this morning, and I'm going out (on foot) to buy some more boxes of paper handkerchiefs. And the daily paper, of course.
I may be some time.

We normally have the music centre on Saturday mornings, but today they want the school for an open day.

@McTag,
What would you say the open day is in aid of Mac?

Good morning crew of this warm filled ship.
Checking in from wind howling sideways snow state. Finally that is. Two days back parsley and prim rose were mocking the clouds. Today that is not so.
Izzie, thank you for keeping my cabin. Even though its bed may lay not unruly, I visit, and feel comfortable.
Busy day today. Running the gamut from post office, to two towns over market. Much in between. Will be home for kick off. Whitefish tacos if anyone is interested. Bring a snack please.
Good day.

@ehBeth,
I am sorry about that. Fingers are the worst to get squished...all of those nerve endings. Makes me shiver to think about it.

Your room with the women and girls reading sounds delightful. I remember studying that picture as a little girl. To the point where I felt like I would know her if she walked down the street. The hand holding the book intrigues me.

Alex! Hello man. White fish tacos sounds amazing. I will bring some fried ravioli and tomato and roasted red pepper dip and artichoke and garlic dip. Whoa. Tummy rumbled.

McT. I LOVE that you call them disposable handkerchiefs. That is what I am going to call tissue from now on. Enjoy your walk and the clear cold day. Smile

You all are precious. I am in a warm fuzzy mood...and NO I haven't been tippling so early in the morning...thank you very much. Wink

Hugs you all.

@Roberta,
Good Morning Roberta!

McT - I meant paper handkerchiefs. That sounds just wonderful. So much better than Kleenex. Or tissue.

@mismi,
I know, even I'm not that grubby. My cats have just got over colds, one of them made quite normal noises when he sneezed, the other one sounded like a squeaky rubber duck. When I first heard it I wondered what was going on.

@mismi,
I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but my two cats (Vic & Bob) are particularly adorable. They're very friendly, even people who don't usually like cats like those two. I have had other cats that were not as friendly.

@izzythepush,
Probably has as much to do with their keeper as their personality. Smile I love their names.

@mismi,
That's very kind of you to say so, but I can't take credit for that, they were just as friendly when we picked them up from the cat shelter. I am responsible for their names though. Whe we first got them they were called Troy and Cleo, far too arty farty for my liking.

@izzythepush,
Great kitty names. Very down to earth.

I just got finished playing Wipe Out on Kinect. I beat 2 of my kids. I rock. I don't know how in the heck it happened. But I did a whole lot of laughing.

Has anyone seen that show? Hilarious

@mismi,
Morning miss sunshine you sound very upbeat this morning, had a Corona or two whilst beating the kids in wipe out? We have no pets but my neighbour has the most lovable cat who is always around me, his name is "Hutch" and presently he is purring on my computer desk. LOL Have a great day.

Nope...no beer. Smile Just pure and natural talent. Razz

You attract the animals. Even though they aren't yours.
Understandable. Have a good day Dear Dutchy

The open day is the school's Open Day. Which part of Open Day is hard to understand? The buildings belong to a fee-paying school, and they invite prospective families in so they can market themselves, and so that the children can familiarise themselves with the setup.

I said I may be some time. We talk of paper tissues too, of course; not all of us are old-fashioned. But everyone understands paper hanks.
Have you got a clean hankie? A mother's perennial question.
I also bought grapes, dates, oranges and The Guardian.
And then walked home via a cafe-bar where my wife was meeting her friend.
That's me firmly pigeonholed, then.

@McTag,

I neglected to mention, our music centre is not part of the main school. We just use the buildings when they are available, on a Saturday.
