It's lashing with rain here (still a drought in the Home Counties and SE? Seems incredibly unlikely, from the view from my window). I've done my chores, but if this weather keeps up it's unlikely I'll go in to stand in the rain at Duke's 92 to see the girls doing their stuff.
I'd like to though. I'm torn.
I do possess a raincoat and a big brolly.
I know, have a cup of tea and mull it over.

Taggers - yep, big brolly - go darlin'! It's been horrendouse here but I was just talking with Tulip and we can spot a little blue sky out there. Got chilly tho - have had to crank up the heating!
So, my little boy came in with something I really wished for - (I know Taggers, you're not keen on the buble... but I love Michael Buble and S-boy gifted me his new album.
All I Want For Christmas
I have on my lime green and turquoise new hoody - if I put my hands in the air and join them in the middle, I could the Christmas Tree - LOVE IT - I am uber bright and festive! MaMa and PaPa are on way over for mince pies so I'll be signing off for a tad - will be back tonight.

As it’s soon to be Christmas Down Under and our crew will be heading out shortly on their travels, I quickly wished to let you know…
I’ve been getting the decorations ready on the deck… decks decs!
Here we have the Crimbo wreath which is placed at the helm…
LOTS of baubles
(one can never have too many baubles!!!!!)

we have some vino de collapso
mince pies
so, <flicks switch>… turning on the Christmas Lights
and of course we have lots of this
and thoughts to those who are unable to be with us, or with their loved ones...
Between us there are many miles

Taped the local news programme. The male presenter used to work on South Today. I fast forwarded to the interview with the two ladies and watched the singing at the end. I was impressed, very professional.

Our power has been out for a few hours - the whole village was cut off and we've just come back on the grid <phew> Hadda light a fire, it was sooooooo chilly. S-boy and I decided to play the Alphabet game with Carrot Cake - which means, you take a bit bite of carrot cake and then have to say the name of country, in an accent, alphabetically. I had "J" - Jamaica... well, <coughs> let's just say my accents are as bad as my singing and I need to go hoover now!!!! Of course, woe was me when I had no power to put the kettle on to get a cuppa with my cake!
MaMa brought me out some meds - I've got a sinus infection <gah> and I'm a little blech (who knew!). S-boy is going to his PaPa's in about an hour so we've got all his little bits and pieces packed up and his Dad has our stocking for him, then I'll see him on Boxing Day. He's quite excited tho he's missing his brother bigtime right now. We've had a few tears today (both of us) but we're good now and we've done some surprises for R-boy; MaMa has taken our gifts for him to my friend, Pam's, house and I know he's gonna have such a great time there, which makes me smile HUGE R is going to see my parents tonight, I'm so pleased he's not going to be in the city for Christmas. S-boy is hoping (they are planning) to see each other after Crimbo so that will do them both good.
Okeydokey - gotta do a quick hoover through, then I intend to have a big long bath tonight. Hope to catchy'all later - if I'm not here, it means the power's gone out again, so no worries.
