@GracieGirl,
Hello Gracie Very Happy

OK, gonna try and explain with a few pics

First, you need to have the photograph stored on your computer or external hard drive.

Then, you need to sign up to photobucket or imageshack (www.photobucket.com/)

Once your signed on (I’ll use photobucket as it’s easy) then you need to customise your upload options before you upload the photo

On photobucket, you should a screen similar to this when you click on the green 'upoload'

before you upload, click on the 'customise your upload options' where the blue arrow is pointing and you should see this screen

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/Capturebucket.png

then this

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/Capturebucket1.png

click on 1024 x 768 recommended for larger pic, or 800 x 600 for smaller pic and save the options

Then upload your picture from the hard drive and save it to the photobucket album, and copy and paste the img code, as below

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/Capturebucket2.png

Before you submit your post, preview it to check that the image appears

(word of caution, be careful if you are uploading photos of yourself or family… OK Wink )

If you are grabbing a url off the internet, I would still recommend using photobucket, you just change the upload to “The Web”

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/CaptureG.png

(this just prevents any hotlinks being posted, tho if you don’t wish to do that you just copy and paste the url from the internet and put the img code around it

Hope all that makes sense Very Happy If you have any problems, give me a shout!

Soooooooooooooo…. I’ve been taking some bug pics… love a bug’s eye but so need to get some tubes!

@Izzie,
I had a customer that brought his wife to help pick up a car, so she could see the pond.

(he's going to have to build one)

she was overwhelmed by all the dragon and damsel flies buzzing around.

unfortunately, my old kodak won't do magic...

I was shooting earlier and it flashed up that it was overheating - which is does sometimes when doing macro and click click click - it suddenly stopped Neutral so I thought the battery had gone or it needed to cool down a wee while, left it a long while, put in the spare, nada, so thought the spare must be flat too, charged both batteries... nada... dead as a dodo

<insert very sad face and a bit of a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr>

it's a camera, it's just a camera, repeats to self, it's just a camera...worse things happen at sea...<sigh>

@Izzie,
Are you suggesting I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars? Is the balloon festival in Bristol?

@Izzie,
It is just a camera, but still -- you have done such great work with that camera. It is kind of sad.

@JPB,
thankee RH, JPB and Special Agent jw...

yep, I feel as tho I have just lost my comfort blanket... Shocked

still, I'm talking (or squawking Razz) so I guess that's better than normal when I lose a comfort zone.

I gave my other DSLR to Tulip's S-girl and she's starting college on Monday (gosh, how is that possible, she's STARTING COLLEGE) so she needs it for that.

I haven't been able to shoot for a while now but today was different - I really wanted to - I even took some of the nasty yellow-bummed spider but then came across all clammy with my heart going ten to the dozen, so decided that wasn't too bright an idea. 6 legs is wonderful, 8 legs, not so.

Anyhoo - I can't complain - there really are lots of other things in the world that are heaps more important... it's just my camera is my eyes and peace. Nem'mind. It's only 6 months old so they have to sort it out under warranty... so I musn't whine.

My thang will have to wait Shocked Poor camera, I've worn it out!

<lets out a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr tho! oooooooooooooh, I want my blanket back!>

@Izzie,
Morning Izzie, got rid of that spider yet? Special day today, off to the Airport shortly to pick up M. Glorious spring day, 27 degrees, will have a nice BBQ for relatives and friends visiting us today. Watched the Test Cricket in Sri Lanka last night which made me run late this morning. Cheers all.

@Izzie,
Ah, I missed Mrs. Beagle's birthday, Izzie.

Don't worry about that spider, 'cause you can always play this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0UgCCm-KZE

A tarantella was a song that made people dance who had been bitten by a tarantula. That way, the poison was excreted by the perspiration.

I didn't take any chances with the brown recluse that I found skittering about. I just killed it pronto.
