Naw Dutchy - this was with the All Star team - bunch of little boys running around...just dipped my toes in the water. And I actually chickened out from camping in the TENT. It's HOT and there were ROACHES too. Nope. That is not for me. I am now home in my nice cool house. I left them men to fight the elements. Miserable. I did eat a hamburger and have a beer with the girls sitting in the car with the air conditioner running.

The ankle is better - hardly swollen at all now - but my knee is messed up, I think. I'll call the ortho on Monday if it's still bothering me.

Hi everyone! I am in Los Angeles for a few days visiting my daughter, Katrina. She showed me her office yesterday and introduced me to her coworkers. They are busy casting two different movies right now. Actors and actresses come to the office to read lines from the movie scripts and have their auditions filmed in a small room next to the office. It is very chaotic work. It made me glad to have an orderly civil service job.

Just read about JPB's injury. Very sorry, JPB. I am in California right now. (Otherwise I would have rushed over to that desolate Illinois town where you live to help out. )

Ha! Easy for you to say from sunny California. It's pretty darned hot here today - 91 and peaking. I bought a bunch of plants that need planting. Give me a holler when you get back and I'll make sure I keep some flats for you. I'll even pick you up at the train station.

Ah, it's cloudy... but still warm - a relief from the hot weather of the last 2 days Had visitors in and out all day yesterday - some light - so very happy; one heavy...so very sad - oh for a magic wand as reality kicks in for the family.

Yep, shows the system works if you need it to and tho I don't feel the need to use the ignore button for anyone, there are some threads I clear from my view that I know I won't ever respond to or have an interest in, so it works for me in that respect in clearing the decks - plus when I feel like throwing a occasional tantrum, which is pretty rare to be honest, it works for me too - better than using a bucket and chuckit.
