Good afternoon crew the Bosun is back from extended shore leave, needed some urgent adjustments to the body and was fitted with a new part making life a lot easier. Thank you dear Izzie for holding my hand and my other friends for keeping me in your prayers, I'm very grateful for your support. Mrs.B as always kept a list of chores to done which will keep me busy over the next few days and get me back into circulation. Looking forward doing the Salsa with the Captain after I scrub the deck. Has Tulip got some clove oil handy? it saved me a few times - really helps take the edge off oral pain - just have to be careful to keep it off the tongue (who needth a nummm tonggg?)

Well I must have felt the taco salad vibe from up there...we had that tonight and I am now on my 2nd Mich Ultra. All Stars - break in between...actually about to go to our second practice for J. So late - thank goodness it is just a play day at school tomorrow.

BTW - Both S and J received the Presidential Gold Award for academic excellence (they told me it will actually be signed by President Obama). Both had A's for both 4th and 5th grade and 85% or higher on standardized testing. Could not be prouder of my boys.

G-baby has straight A's as well...I guess the thing that makes me the most proud is they have accomplished this all by themselves. They did not depend on me or their dad to help with one thing.

I hope you all are doing well. Thoughts are with you wherever you are.

Well - it's been the massivest few days - my boss is off sick for a couple weeks so haven't stopped for breath (I love being the Headteacher tho I do want her well soon) but am just about down to my last legs. Works done for 12 days now - YAY. My sis has been with me for a couple days and... life is good Dreams can come true - really - they can - and ours might - it's all in the greater plan. Love my sis so much, missing her madly. A-girl is also taking her final exams - so far, so good for her. Good luck BEAR. x

Anyhoo - I also did my first photo shoot - she is just 5 years old and gosh, if I could bottle her beauty and innocence... well, I'd have a bottle full of sweet happiness - she is just the most darling little girl, a fairy princess - she wants to be a Bluebell Fairy when she grows up. The curliest long ringlets and her beautiful face as pale as the driven snow with rosebud lips and green/brown eyes - stunning STUNNING 'kinder'. She wouldn't let me go when I had to leave... (ahhh, nearly made me cry), hugs and kisses and holding onto my legs - we're going to do another shoot tomorrow - on horseback!!!!!! No no no, not me, the fairy princess!

Right now - I have to go process and then get some rest. I'm totally kaput.

Woken this morning with such a heavy heart. There's almost a hesitant relief knowing that a friend who was greatly loved is no longer suffering pain nor will suffer indignity - yet a totally overwhelming sadness for his loss and for his other friends, family and especially our Lady Diane.

just makes me weep...



The sun is shining and I need to go and spend some time with my camera.

Schoolhouse is full to overflowing with furniture. With djjd's help we've insulated the attic already. Things are progressing well. Will check in next week!
