Having seen Izzie's lovely pictures over a long time I thought I can do that too. Smile So today after my visit to the beach I went to our Botanical Gardens and took a shot of the Lotus pond where the flowers are in full bloom. How did I do Captain?

@Stormwatch,
Evening Crew

My oh my Stormy, what big snow bumps you have Shocked - goodness gracious me. You just stay indoors girl for the weekend and light a fire. Can you get to work, at the roads clear? You take care out there.x

TC - you too - you got heap big helpings up there? Hope you are managing with work and all is good with Mr FixIt too. xx

Puts our little frosty bits into perspective a?

BEAgle - loving your beach and botanical gardens - luverly - so wish you would post more pics for us to see. I heard the flooding had reached some parts of NSW and Victoria - hoping that you are going to be clear of any of that. It's simply too hard to even imagine how terrible it is for all those who have lost family and friends in the floods, leave alone all their property. Months and years of clean up ahead. So terribly terribly sad. Our hearts go out to all of them.

Hope you are well BEAgle and visiting with your angels and all is good. How's the eye? You still pirate Dan or back to normal for the time being? xx

Missy - glad you went and had your nap today girlie - miss you every day - always in my heart. x

Boida - hope you are doing well too - will be catching up on your thread soon. love and massive hugs to you x

Letty - ha, not sure I can still bounce anymore - but I'm here and wishing you much love and hugs x

McT - hope you finally got all your repairs and stuff fixed and things are going well back in the teaching front. Love to you and the cabin boy. xx

Bazza - got your txt and will try and reply when I've got some signal. Hope all is happy in London toon.x

RH - onwards and upwards - trying not to take any turns in the wrong direction... forward step forward step x

jw - still snow out in ChiTown a? Hope Annie is enjoying being back in school and everything is going well for you and yours. x

(((JPB))) mega hugs back atcha xxxx

(((((Blue)))))) smooch xox x

Gotta z - early morning school run. Night x

All fixed and hunky-D, thank'ee.

Do you know what? I went to see a surgeon today who is going to try to fix my hearing up a bit. I'm going to get a plastic gizmo fitted in my head, to tackle sclerosis in the inner ear.
One side only to begin with. Two months or so waiting time, but...get this, America....it's free. Wish me a happy new ear.

@alex240101,
Hello Alex good to hear you're dandy, what's been happening in your little patch?

Public Holiday downunder, Australia Day, the birth of our Nation in 1788. Will spoil Mrs.B by taking her out for dinner tonight.

Waves to the crew.

Alex! You're a sight for sore eyes, as the saying goes. Lots of new sightings today, including a promise that spring will come.

Have I mentioned that I hate January? There's something about 31 days of brutal cold gray skies that makes January the longest month of the year.

Sending warm wishes and hugs to Mz Izz.

Love you, hun.

@McTag,
Really - that's interesting. Tell more if you feel like it.
Not about the money (I can't afford hearing aids, and since I haven't been tested in a while, I don't know if my symptoms are in range for them anyway, anymore) but about your symptoms. Good luck with it!

@ossobuco,

Symptoms- deafness, progressive.
Diagnosis- otosclerosis, and unfortunately also "nerve-deafness".
Solution (and it's only going to be a partial solution)- stapedectomy.

If you google these words, you've got the picture.

In Britain, thanks to our National Health Service, all my previous audiology treatment (over 20 years) and the surgery above is free of charge.
Which is nice.

@JPB,
JPB. When you are finished reading this message, spring air is closer.
Nice, much thoughts Stormwatch, Tai Chi, Dutchy and all.
Izzie, near a month, __will mutiny upward. Can not think of the name of those perennials.
For the most part, sharp props concealed by glowing ring.
Not a dilemma, time freezing. I'll be a cube.
Will fry catch on back yabber deck.
Be back in a flash.

That's odd for someone who was BORN in January.

Happy Birthday, JPB!
