@JPB,
Sorry to read about your mom Izzie, glad things worked out ok in the end.
I figure once you get past 25 you are on the road to hell in a hand cart, that's why I wanna be like Jimmy Dean.

How's our new mate Lenny doing, got an update Margo?

Oh my!
I had no idea you were following developments so closely. A gentleman never speaks of his conquests...

Luckily I'm no gentleman, I have a dastardly plan. Keep tuned for updates!

Ok I gotta admit the plan went bazooka's up due to 'light flurries', heck I've seen more flakes of dandruff than what hit the sidewalk.

Dagnabbit I'm left with this snow plow I hired to blast my way to Missy heights. Heck, I would only need a teaspoon!

The only good news is they are gonna close the Federal Court in Huntsville tomorrow. Whoo! Every cloud has a silver lining.

Kahi
Lua
Kolu ...

Ps. Anyone know where I can get a teaspoon at this time on a Sunday?

@Izzie,

I knew she'd be all right.

She's a tough nut. Did she damage the pavement?

@Izzie,
OK Blue et crew- an honest opinion

I've been working on my long exposure Shocked

whaddya think - I think the exposure was too long but this was my first attempt shooting in RAW, using the camera on manual, hand held, no tripod... too artistic, slight HDR with 3 merging pics

@Stormwatch,
It is beautiful Izzie. I love it.

Tryagain - you leave me speechless. Truly.

JPB - Tryagain's gonna' have to bring more than a teaspoon...We are in for it! It has been sleeting and sticking for hours now. I can't go down my front steps they are so icy. But - the only problem is, we may lose our power...and that will suck. But I am prepared. ((JPB)) Can't wait. I bought the boys snow pants today. SNOWPANTS! heh heh. And boots...so their feet will stay warm and dry. <sigh> how much fun!

So excited! Love the prospect of a sn0w day. I will be careful though. I hope.

Hiya Stormy! Good to see you too!

((Dutchy)) take care dear man!

Hi there McT!

Hugs and kisses to you all!

Greetings, all.

Iz - go to the bloody hydrotherapy, f'gudness sake! Wear a sheet or shroud if you have to. I guarantee you'll feel heaps better!

Thanks for the prayers and oms, all. Len is off the critical list - and is now at the grumpy, whinging stage - why did I have to break so many bones? Well, duh!?

Now that he's unhooked from most of the monitors I'll have to see just what sort of movement he has, so we can decide on which toys to provide to keep him occupied. He'll be grounded for a while!

Big sigh of relief here.

But the cricket is/was/has been a bloody nightmare. I'd consider suicide, but the way things have been going lately, I'd probably miss.

@margo,
That's good news about Len, now don't forget, visiting hours are all day, so do the right thing and entertain your man!

Izzie take the girls advice, swim and get better. Good to know Mum is doing alright, scary though.

Waves to mismi and stormy.

@Dutchy,
I will have to go look Dutchy. I haven't checked my e-mail today. Bad me. I did see that you were reading one yesterday. It truly was a great movie. I laughed and got watery eyed...I love Darcy...I mean - Collin Firth.

Smores - Graham Crackers, Marshmallows and Chocolate. You put chocolate on the Graham cracker - then you take the marshmallow and roast it over the fire, then place the marshmallow on the chocolate...take another graham cracker and smash it onto the marshmallow like a sandwich. It's good...but rich. Makes me sick.

Sandlot explanation....great movie.

Funny story... I let my four year old watch The Sandlot with his brothers...child has no filter (this was G-baby). So my Mom takes them to Dairy Queen and a little boy sits next to G at the bar. G-baby starts repeating the smack scene from The Sandlot - listen to this -

G-baby repeated all of that to the little boy. His mama came and made him move.

oops.

@margo,
Morning Crew

Ah, good news to start this Monday off - Len's off the critical list... ha, being a grumpy 'ole man now, not a good patient I take it! Yep Margo, you'll have to find him some boys toys. I know with that wicked sense of humour of yours that he'll get some surprises no doubt. So, so pleased he's improving. Very Happy Will carry on the ommmming until he can walk out the hospital - guess he'll have a lot of PT coming up too in the future. Healing wishes and a speedy recovery to him. How's you? All OK?

Bethie - no worries re doing the hydro - I have to have the PT first and then they'll start the hydro - have figured a way in my head - I do know how ridiculous I sound - but ack my body <shakes head for stupidity>. Do so love those Beryl pics - make me smile every time. Hope all is good with you and HIM in Tranna and that PaPa is keeping well too.

Stormy - hoping all the family is happy and that puppy of yours in behaving Razz So good to see you. Trust that all is going good at school and you're not too exhausted already. We've got 6 weeks until half term - ha, I'm looking forward to that already. Hoping I will be fit enough to travel way up country - I want to visit the Lake District or North Wales and do a little exploring with my camera there. We'll see. You take care and wishing you well for this term.

BEAgle - how's the eye today? Any more visits to the angels coming up? Still feeling that poke in the eye for ya - oof!!!

((JPB)) - love to y'all out there in ChiTown x

((AlexChap)) - sending you hugs and mucho love. x

TC - where's our TC then? Is the Great White North under snow still? Hmmmm. (((((TC)))))

Missy - oh, had a look around to see what accumuation you got there: found this - http://blog.al.com/live/2011/01/snow_storm_moves_into_alabama.html. So pleased you got the white stuff but truly hoping you didn't have the power outtages - brrrrrrr - definite 'put another log on the fire' weather. Loved the story of G-baby - heh, just like S-boy - I call it "massive personality" and I'm sticking to that Wink Hope you had the best fun in the snow.

((Blue)) - looks like you may need a dessert spoon for 'Bama! Razz

So, it's very grey and mis outside and we've got a LOT of rain. Buckets of it. Up North and Scotland are having more snow and ice so thoughts are with them - it's been a loooong time for them in winter wonderland. POMcTaggers - looks like it may get down to your part of the world too - stay safe there - I read you had a bit of a fall too Shocked Sorry not to have known about that before, would have sent the Cabin Boy some massage oil to make you feel better! Razz

OK - need to take a little lay down today - not much sleep so need to rest up - too many aches and pains. Tard. Wee man from the village has picked up my car and I have to go look for my cheque book - nasty big bill about to be written.

Thinking of y'all and sending hugs to those that may need them and for those who don't. Thinking too of our MzOlga and Babbling also.

Lovin' y'all x
