@Barry The Mod,
Hello Harbourmaster, a Merry Christmas to you and may you enjoy your day. Yours will be cold, ours was hot and Christmas dinner was served outside. Went down really well with the necessary refreshments. Won't make your mouth water and tell you what we had except to say for openers son put 2 x 3kg freshly caught lobsters on the table. Cheers, having my last cold beer. Smile

Hope they didn't make too much of a mess before you were able to stun them.

@McTag,
Hi McTag, no mesh at all, son is a professional fisherman , caught the lobsters, stunned them by drowning, cooked them just right and presented them ready to eat! Pleased he brought them as I can't afford to buy them at today's prices. Smile

Edit: We crossed posts Izzie, how many times has this occurred in the past? LOL Great to see you had a nice start to the day with S-boy. Wishing you a lovely time with Pa and Ma. (((Izzie)))

@Rockhead,
Alabama did get snow Rock! It was amazing. Came down most of the day. Didn't stick where I was (I live on a hill in the valley - go figure) But we went up to Bluff Park over the mountain to my Father and Mother in laws and they had a few inches. The boys had a great time! ((Rock)) Thanks man Wink

It was a great Christmas - the boys were up at 4:30 AM this morning - asking me if we could start opening presents - I told them to get their fannies back in their beds until 6:00AM! heh heh. For Pete's sake. Wink

I hope you all had a wonderdul day. I am beat. Must go to bed. ((Izzie)) Thank you sweet friend. xox

hugs y'all,
mis

Belated Christmas Greetings everyone! Sorry to be so late to the party but I've been a little pre-occupied. Worked Christmas eve 'til 5pm and then a couple of days visiting with our oldest. (He just left with a load of furniture. Very high energy. I'm tired and coming down with a cold to boot.) Anyway he had a great time with the camera, sending photos of snow etc to his friends in the snow-deprived big city. Not snow, but a couple of fun photos of our Christmas eve tourtiere:

So -- anybody else eat too much?

@Tai Chi,
That looks amazing Tai Chi. Oh yeah...I have eaten way too much. Love Christmas and all the food.

It snowed all day today too. Just a little stuck though...it was too warm to stay. Though it has plummeted and is presently about 27degrees F out there. Feels it too. I had to go wrap the faucets...not something we normally worry about - but going down to 21 degrees F - I would rather be safe than sorry. Smile

I miss y'all. I know folks are busy doing the Christmas thing. But y'all are in my thoughts! Hugs and kisses!

@mismi,
Hi all, the Bosun survived Christmas as well but only just, ate and drank far to much! It was great to have the family at home this special time of the year but a little sad today when they left us for home.

Good news for my English cricket friends, your team has the Aussies on its knees in the 4th Test, and it's only the second day! Only rain can save the home side and that is highly unlikely. Smile

Warm greetings and hugs to all.

@Dutchy,
Good Morning Crew

So glad to read y'all had a lovely Christmas and wonderful times - warms my heart to read it.

It was very, very cold over the last few days - the river was trying hard to freeze over, but it's fairly fast flowing so didn't quite get there - but it was mighty beautiful with the ice - I spent the day going in and out of the house to look at it as the thaw began - too cold to stay outside for more than half an hour for me. Warmer today, just above freezing and the thaw is starting - I'm hoping to be able to go and drive somewhere over the next couple days.

The rest of the UK is still completely frozen but the South West is the warmest part of the country - the North and Scotland are still struggling with snow storms which are headed back in over the next coupla days.

Have been seeing what's happening on the US East Coast too - yep - the arctic weather finally arrived there and a foot or more of snow is expected there, even as far down as FL - I believe the Carolinas have even got some right now - Stormy, hope that you are OK over there and haven't been hit too hard. Treacherous over there right now - thinking of all our A2Kers out there in Bahstin, NYC et all the way down to our Letty. Boida and Tsar, hope you are keeping warm and staying inside. Take good care out there OK, do be careful.

BEAgle - so glad M,K&kidz were with you and I can imagine you're very sad to see them go - hopefully they will get down again soon to see you. Do you have any plans now for the New Year? xx

Yep BEAgle, the Aussies aren't too happy about the cricket a? I bet this was guy was saying more than CRIKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk41/LzzieIzzie/crikey.jpg
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/27122010/58/ashes-australia-mourns-death-cricket.html

Razz

Think Margo would be saying "Oh B*gger"!

POMcT - how ya doing up there in Mancunian country? Hope you had a brill Christmas and your little big fella was able to come by. You still got some of the white stuff? Hugs to you and the Cabin Boy xx

jw - gorgeous photo of your family - gosh, those big kids are so big now - must be lovely for Annie to have them come home. Hope that Nathan has had a great time in Colorado. Thank you so much for sharing that pic. Love that. x

JPB - hoping you had a fab time with the girls and MrB and are now taking it easy on that leg of yours <see my frowny face Confused > Not sure if you've been hit with any more snow - but hope you are able to have some little chillax time over the next few days. xxxx

Hey ci - good to see you T - hope you had a good few days and got to spend time with the family too. I see you've been off travelling all over on your travelogue - good for you - long may you travel. Love to you and yours. xx

Rock - hope you're hunkered down there and are able to get out and get those logs in - scritch those kitties for me - I have some Murphy tutorial pics for Bubba and Dink to post at some stage - my boyz have a masterclass in "How To Catch A Mouse" Wink x

Bethie - ah, know you and HIM would have had a good Christmas - hope all is well in Tranna – did you get to see Hamburger? Sending you hugs Beth. Xxx

Bazza - hope you and Paul had a great day and you're now relaxing with the Fredster. Enjoy your time off work and have fun. x

Missy – yay – you had snow – I saw the video, loved that Mis – especially the ending and hearing your voice – ahhhhhhhh – beautiful Southern Belle ye be. Looks like there may be a possibility you’ll get some more snow if the arctic weather pushes across a little – will hope for you that you get a little more but that all will be safe with that. So glad you had a great Christmas – ha, 4.30am, I remember those days – hope the kids and y’all have caught up on some sleep now Razz Love you Mis – enjoy the family time, keep smiling xxxxx

Talking of smiley faces – TC – great smiley pies and plates – hope you have managed to stave off the cold and caught up on some rest. Ask your Mr FixIt to fix you a hot toddy. Take care TC xx

(((((Blue))))) Hoping you had a good Christmas and you’ll be back onboard soon xox x

Y’all take care

@Izzie,

We had big eats today, with nine people round the table. Very enjoyable.
The snow is now melting away, almost all gone, but more bad weather is forecast. We might get some more snow before long.
Our "little fella" was here last week, but right now he's up in Edinburgh with his girfriend's folks, enjoying that famous Caledonian hospitality. And Hogmanay in the capital....well. Very Happy

@verbivore,
Hi verbivore, you sure were missed at my birthday party, had some special chocolates put aside for you. Smile

Evening Izzie, I know you're around somewhere as I've spotted you this morning. How are you feeling at the moment?

Rest has returned to the Beagle household after the family left, am about to take Mrs. B to the after Christmas sales, will be another chaotic morning if last year's stampede is anything to go by. Smile

Weather unbelievable here, hot,cold,hot, cold but 40 degrees plus (100 plus) forecast for New Year's Eve and New Years day. Looks like we'll be drinking in the New Year with a cold beer or two. Drunk Join my mismi?

Cheers to all the crew.
