Thank you crew for your most welcome birthday wishes it really made my day! The day could not have been better, beautiful sunshine but best of all, my son and family travelled 500 miles to visit me and staying with us for a few days.

Presently it is 9am Christmas morning but the grand kids have been causing havoc since 6am looking for Santa Claus's droppings. Well they succeeded and found what they were looking for and their screams of delight tell the story.

Yesterday was a busy day with family and friends calling by but today we're taking it easy as we'll be attending another family gathering where all the Christmas cooking is taking place. Mrs. B and I can relax and soak it all in.

I just listened to Midnight Mass and had a bit of hum along.... not quite a lllalalllala.... more of a mmamammmammamaauuuauuawah - as I harking at the herald angels singing, I put a few little gifts, ya know, the silly ones, chocolate money, smellies, an satsuma and blah, in S-boys Crimbo stocking and that is now all done and sitting beside me ready to go on the end of his bed if I can sneak in and not waken him.
