Ooooooooh thank you, thank you all!
It’s my birthday and my wish came true already
so I’m a very very happy gal who’s caught her breath again. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!
Little fella and I had such a busy day yesterday at the hospital and having to do a bit of shopping – now admittedly the place is still white with snow – temps were minus 9.5 (yes,
minus 9.5 GOOD GOLLY) at 9.30am yesterday morning – but we got to the hospital (roads were clear and easy), had xrays (all OK, check up again to see why I’m clicking in 6 weeks) – then had to do TESCO in my Robocop boots and crutches (don't ask about Tesco pfffssssssssssst). OMGawsh.
Anyhoo... did what had to be done, then needed to go visit with my parents, eventually got home late, wrapped the family’s presents and before S-boy and I knew it, it was 11.45pm
as we finished up. So, we waited a few minutes and he sang Happy Birthday to me which was lovely. Guess what I was gifted – a LOWEPRO SLINGSHOT CAMERA BACKPACK (ahahahhahaha) – I love it, was so excited when I actually got to put my camera in it (I've been so tempted to open it before), it’s got lots of little compartments (look out, I’ll be OCD before you know it
) – I also was given a Take That CD – yes yes yes, I love that and I got the most beautiful set of earrings and necklace – blue circles – from my friend Pam. Tulip, thank you so much for my gorgeous dragonfly – OH MY – that is so ME, I can see the kids saying that now – it’s gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous – blue and green leaded stained glass – perfect – THANK YOU so much. It's going on the Christmas tree with my gold one - will take pics.
So that was so very lovely – we ended up going to bed very late and S is still asleep – he’s off to his Dad’s at lunchtime as his PaPa wanted to take him to the movies today and this is the only day he could see him this week, so he’ll be back home later tonight.
Bazza – hope you had the best day – how’s yer head today, mate?????? Hope the celebrations were brill and you enjoyed every moment. You’ll never be 18 so don’t worry, you’ll always be 17
BEAgle – thank you so much – methinks your verra special day is about to dawn too... weird huh – me, you and our Harbour Master with birthdays in a row... just love that.
Margo – yes, thankyou – I have found my voice again – all is well today. Sorry not to have been able to talk t’other day, S said he spoke with you – thank you for phoning and for slapping me when I needed a slap... ha – you are fab and it’s so good talking with you.
BOIDA – oh my, look at those birthday leaves, they are too cool – thank you goil. It did, I kept wishing and wishing and wishing all would be well, and it is, all is well in the world. Thank you.
Missy – ah, you had snow – that is so happy for you! I just love the snow. Thank you, I have to make 2011 a better year for me – so now that I am at a grand age of 46... this next will be it!!!!! FQ and I have a mountain to climb – look out Snowdonia! Have a lovely time preparing for your family for your Christmas – you’re gonna have the best time for sure.
Sis – I love you much – hope you’re feeling heaps better now and have got everything sorted out for Christmas – make this one the best ever for you, K and girls – tell them I love them too. x
