I read you as in virtually constant performance, like wired up. To me your house cleaning is a realm of wonder - not against you, but looking back at our foremothers who were all over that.

Yeah - I am indeed performance oriented. I have an internal checklist I seem to check off before I can say it has been a day. If I am unable to check off that list - it has been a bad day. Believe it or not Osso - I fight it. But it is how I am rigged - I seem to do it without thinking.

I don't mind criticism from someone who is trying to help and not just being judgemental. So I thank you - You are absolutely right. What I accomplish is how I judge my worth.

Morning crew, nice warm morning downunder, and Mrs.B has a long list of Christmas chores waiting for me. Now that we're staying home and family is coming here need to put up a Christmas tree and decorations. Have written all my Christmas cards and finished our Christmas shopping. A warm day is forecast for Christmas, so different to most of you folks who will be having a cold and white Christmas. That reminds me I must stock up my fridge with beer. All have a good day. I had icicles hanging off of my car today! I haven't seen that EVER! So funny. They even let me go home a little early to avoid the ice on the bridges. You know the problem with Alabama folks and ice is - they drive the same way they do on a warm sunny day - crazy folks...I heard we had several hundred accidents today because of the ice. Nuts.

It would be wonderful to have a white Christmas - but I don't ever see that happening down here, Beth!

Though it has been crazy weather for us down here...I guess you just never know.

Ahhhh Dutchy - the warm summer and an ice cold beer - makes me homesick for summer You have been a busy bee. Good to see you!

I told you - they don't know how to drive in the rain either. Goofy folks! Scares me to death to drive anywhere in inclement weather. I am exhausted by the time I get anywhere - having to drive so defensively.

No Butrflynet - I haven't gotten an update from her lately. Miss her. Thinking about her.

Yikes! that has got to be very hard for people who are not used to driving in those conditions. Bad enough if you're used to it.

It is harder when you are not used to it I guess, Beth - it doesn't help that our weather guys didn't see this coming. No one was prepared so when the freezing rain hit and everything started icing over - folks started having accidents all over the place. Such a mess. Of course there was no way the weather fellers could know that it would happen like this...

It's funny - at lunch time all the grocery stores were wiped out of milk and bread. Happens every time someone says "snow" or "freezing rain". It's going to be 60 degrees tomorrow. All we will have then is serious sinus issues from the hugemongous change in temperatures!

I must add that I'm now at the other edge of all that, too lazy, which is naturally not good. I admire your verve - just don't want you to be too hard on yourself. ((((hugs))))
