When I go to an Indian restaurant and they give us poppadoms and some appetizers in little dishes, the only thing I can't eat is the lime pickle.

I don't like lime pickle.

I can't imagine how anyone can.

McT,try adding a few lumps of lime pickle to a spag bol or a shepherds pie for an extra kick .

Oh wow,even the animals are thinking pink....

goodness gracious - how much rain did we have last night - thank goodness PaPa built the Ark at the end of the garden - IT IS WET HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Rain last night - ooooooooooooh, you should see the river

Got to do some work then run into town - S-boy is still off school but not as poorly by any means - fever and sneezy - but looks a whole heap better - phew

Hi verbivore, you never mentioned me in your post but I'll forgive you this one time. Seeing a lot of your Country on our local TV stations presently. Will you be watching the Commonwealth Games? Several TV stations are completely dedicated to the Games and will cover every event here. Your Country seems to have spent a lot of energy to make these Games successful and it all looks pretty impressive. I sincerely hope nothing untowards will happen and these Games will have a lot of positive spinoffs for your Country.

Thank you verbivore, I knew that. No not busy any more, grand children have left and joined their parents for a holiday in the snow, probably see them again at Christmas time. However I will still call in at McDonalds.

Hey honey! It's been a good day...not a lot accomplished but still nice just to be around the house. Everybody is fine. Other than being a little down in the dumps over Tennessee's loss to LSU. Oh well. Such is life.

All well up there in Chi-town?

Hi miss sunshine, hope all is well with you and yours. I have fully recovered from the 4 day visit of my three grand kids, now 12, 9 and 5 respectively, they know how to wear me down. It is a lovely spring Sunday morning here and I'm about to go for a long stroll along the beach. Then tonight will be watching the opening of the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, promises to be a beautiful spectacle of Indian culture. (((Mismi)))
