Bazza, Margo, Izzie and FQ all together, that should be a larf.

Here, not a larf, rain bucketting down. Waiting for it to stop in Wales so we can get on with beating the Yanks at golf.

I think I'd like to see Les Mis. Maybe the cabin boy and I will go in December- we're thinking of going down to London then.

Hi all,

Sorry not been around for a while, been up and down and now work and stuff! keeping going though as usual. But not long until we go to Tunisia not sure I have much spending money, never mind a beach and the Sahara will suit me fine.

I actually went to a wedding reception yesterday on my own!! I hate walking in on my own, but as I parked a dear friend of mine was waiting to walk in with me and we danced to an irish band called Mad Dog McCrea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoW-yksKobo
this was the first song and I really did do a jig or 2! I remember singing this at primary school!

All was going fine until this stupid, dumb thick person I work for said so you have got over your bit of trouble! Ended up saying me mind then ignored her! I didn't get to bed until 2am! so am rather tired!

I hope all of you are well and keeping busy!

love and hugs to all X

@annis,
Hi annis, have been wondering where you got to, nice to have you back on board. Wow Tunisia that should be a little warmer than home. Wish you a safe journey and lots of fun. Sorry to read about your experience at the wedding, some people can be so rude and insensitive, good on you for giving the person a piece of your mind. You don't need this crap when you're trying to get on with life. Thank you for the hug I'll return the compliment. (((annis)))

@Dutchy,
Hey Dutchy

how are you doing? how is the eye, I seem to remember that you had a problem? I'm off to the doctors on Tuesday with my ear that keeps streaming and a mole that has gone yuk!

Yes we are looking forward to Tunisia, going end of month, had to have loads of injections! Fboy has his MRI in Southampton on 11th and will be starting drugs, Sgirl has been having checkups as she kept fainting but seems it is only low blood pressure. Apart from that ok! Well the dogs and cat are doing ok!

We have just bought a camcorder for Sgirl for her to do her media studies! She is making a film! She is still writing 2 books! Not sure where she gets that from!

It is a bit early but I have opened some wine and am really enjoying it! Need a massage? Ha!

@annis,
Hi Annis. Doing ok thanks, you have a good memory remembering my eye, still giving me problems and seeing eye specialist again at the end of the month. Hope the holiday in Tunesia will do both Fboy and Sgirl a lot of good, I think the latter has her mothers talents if she is making a film and writing 2 books! A glass of wine and a massage sounds awfully inviting. Wink Waves from downunder.

Wassup dudes?

I had to larff when I read that Barry had written, "...hope all's well with 'yall (oops,slipping into the Yank vernacular ".

No way would a Yank utter them words! I thought; yawl was a sailing vessel rigged fore-and-aft with a large mainmast and a smaller mizzenmast towards the stern!

Anyways, just remember, 'Yep' is to agree and 'Yup' is to politely enquire if the person being enquired of is actually up and out of bed.

At least it proves I do read back some and don't spend all my time staring at Missy's décolletage! Sorry Alex you missed out on a hug ((Alex)).

At this juncture I have to confess my bad! What with all the Oz folks crisscrossing the globe I confused Sheila Dlowan with Sheila Margo! I put this temporary erroneous juxtaposition down to the fact that I had jest read that Australia was about to be swept by a swarm of locusts.

Now call me a sweaty redneck who after three divorces still has the same in laws, but; is Australia so dirty that it needs to be swept? And if so, how big a broom can a locus handle?

Answers please to the head honcho hamster.

To all those ailing, may your recovery be swift and sure, and to the rest of this great crew, don't forget to sock it to the man.

BTW Dutchy: Who ate all the pie's?

You see, the phrase " Who ate all the pie's?" implies a task that is physically impossible and cannot be done, no matter the amount of exertion of effort.

Whereas the phrase, "Apple! I asked for blueberry." Means that the operation contradicts certain basic assumptions regarding the pie in question.

Please don't get me wrong, I ain't making no allegations, I'm just saying that's all. Although it is fair to say I have my suspicions.

Who do you suspect - dish the dirt, tell it like it is; know what I'm saying?

Ps. Nice catch McTag, but it sure don't look like any widemouth bass I ever done caught!

@Tryagain,
Hey Crew

Had the most fab weekend - Les Miz was just.......... no words - fantabulous. Got pics and vids but cant upload...

Margo was wicked fun to have around - she has a marvellous sense of humour and it was great to spend time together. Of course, where Margo goes (except for Devon - ha!) it rained!!!!!! Cornwall did show the odd blue sky - but all in all, her trip was rained out along with a few mishaps along the way. She was still smiling and saying "bugger". So so good to meet her and travel up to London with her where we met up with Baz and Charlie ...

can't even describe how wonderful the 25th Ann was - Charlie did brilliant, my health was unbelievably good, walked a lot - we dropped Margo back around 1ish - then baz and I wondered around London til 2.30am taking photos of bridges and marvelling at the buildings - bed 4am.... oooooof today

Long journey home with some diversions - tired tired tired... Maddie Dawg was poorly, straight back down to vet at 5.50pm and injection and eye drops. All kitties and dawg in attendance on the return to Chez Izzie. S-boy feeling a little better and went to school today, sleeping now - and I need to go bed too. Stuff with R kinda took off over the weekend - need to deal with that tomorrow - no idea, no idea... I've been advised to get a Human Rights lawyer for a Judicial Review against SS (gov) - nah... no no no... no more of this. No idea what to do, sheesh....how do i live with myself if i do the wrong thing...?

Nem'mind - Must sleep - so good to see you all and I will read back tomorrow when I can focus a little - eyes are closing.

Lovin' y'all

((((Bethie, MaMaV, Missy, BEAgle, Baz, McT, Tulip, Letty, RH, Babbling, Alex, Stormy, TC, Boida et al.... and of course our (((((((((((Blue)))))))))))))xox ))

Human rights lawyer - how ridiculous does that sound...WTF

it's all going tits up

but the good thing is Charlies Blue Boob is doing brill Razz She was so well on Sunday - oooooooh, stories to tell about Les Miz... boy, did we blub <pass the tissues Baz>

Must sleep now - thinking of y'all and will try and catch up and read back tomorrow. early start, long day.

G'night folks

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

That depends on what you mean by "play". I can't play The Flight of the Bumble Bee on it yet.

The strings are the same pitch and intervals as the bass guitar, so that's a help for a start. Then, you have to learn to saw properly with the bow. I've done a bit of tree-felling in my time, so no biggy.

I play in a strings ensemble on Saturday mornings, just a training band really, tho' not all are juniors. Good fun. Our excellent MD writes the arrangements.
