Panic over.Photobucket playing with me.Where were we?
We had a very long wait for the bus to get to the nature reserve. We were nearly at the front of the queue when a party of 8 yanks arrived and tried to push in at the front.I was NOT having this so I had a word! "But we've paid more than you to get in so we're entitled to go in front!" was a lady's reply. That was a red rag to a bull! "Look here" I said "I'm a Brit and your a Yank.We have a special understanding between our two countries. Here is that understanding. If you're gonna push in,you DO NOT push in in front of me and my party!" "But we've paid more" she replied."That's your fault.Next time get a travel agent who knows the cost of entry. Now get to the back of the queue like the rest of us had to!" They shuffled off, never to be seen again.
Still pictures cannot do the beautiful scenery justice but movie cameras are not allowed
Eby said we had to spot an extinct breed of goat.Doesn't look very extinct to me!
Drove back down the mountain to the place where we saw the baby elephant. This time he had a friend. Her name is Laxmi.Elephant ride time!
Then it was one mad dash to get me to the airport for the return trip to Mumbai.Only thing is the heavens opened.I have never seen it rain this hard ever.Just like driving through a waterfall, and we were doing 80mph!

.
Got there just in time and we quickly said our goodbyes.Off they drove and into the terminal I went, only to find that the flight had been canceled due to bad weather! The airline arranged a hotel room for me.I phoned Verbs and Eby,told them of my plight, and they returned to the Hotel where we spent a very relaxed couple of hours chatting.I left Kochi 11:20 the following morning.
Never seen an airport waiting lounge like this before....

Arrived in Mumbai with just enough time for a quick bit of retail therapy (shopping!).
Huge thanks to Verbs and Eby for making my brief stay with them sooooooo memorable. They went above and beyond the call of duty! I love them dearly.
