Germany is not that bad as

Sounds like a drunken bar debate. My team may be awful, but they're not as bad as these other teams... That's not to say that Germany is other than wonderful, I just wonder what you are trying to prove. If you can prove rationally that Germany is better then India, Israel and the US, does that make you a happier citizen?

How come? Just for your info- I have been to Germany, but not India or Israel.

If you have never even been to America, how can you come to any conclusion? Based upon what frame of reference can you form an opinion about America without even coming here?

Then how can you honestly appraise what life is REALLY like in the USA unless you actually visit there.

I was stationed in Germany during the late '80s.

While I haven't actually visited Israel or India (Italy was my last vacation and I hope to see Jerusalem and Bethlehem before I die.) I don't believe that you can make honest, informed decisions about a country until you have at least walked its streets and spoken to its people.

Rama, America isn't like the movies or all the television shows. It's a pretty wonderful place when you get away from the built up 'tourist trap' areas and hang out with regular folks.

In saying that you would NEVER visit the USA, you are condemning yourself to willful ignorance about a place that you have never experienced firsthand.

You should come visit us and have a real person take you on a tour of REAL America. Not Disney World, not New York City or San Francisco, but the places where actual Americans live and breathe.

If you ever decide to come out of your cocoon and see us, let me know, I'll be happy to take some time off and show you what America really is like.
