This year kids in Texas public schools can say the Pledge of Allegiance along with the state pledge. Now, for the funny part.
This is the Texas State Pledge:
Honor the Texas flag
I pledge allegiance to thee
Texas, one and indivisible.
Thats it. No self respecting Texan would say "thee".
Maybe :
Great flag of Texas
Pass the nachos. :wink:
What is your state pledge? Or do you even know it?
I did not no that. But I put my question in General, because I did not want to talk the politics, or trash any ones state. I meant it in humor and was honestly curious.
In Massachusetts I think we simply look at the flag, raise one hand and shout, "Heil Mitt Romney".
Those of us in Oklahoma enjoy our position. We can look down on Texas.
