There is a TV program called COPS. Frequently, it will show a police officer pulling a motorist over for some reason (e.g., speeding) and then asking the driver for permission to search the car. The driver invariably grants permission and the policeman invariably find drugs or a gun in the car.
What would happen if the driver denied permission?
The cops usually order a warrant, wait until it's received, then proceed to search the car.
Or if you're really sly, you can plant the drugs on the cop, then have a friend cop or da and a tv crew waiting in the wings to arrest his sorry ass. Why? Because most of them are as crooked as any criminal.
COPS
Soozoo--
Thank you.
Does the motorist then have to wait (hours? days?) for the court order? Is the car impounded in the interim?

That's when they turn off the cameras and beat the Christ out of the often shirtless and/or transexual motorist.
