@Rockhead,
It means I could have received a last minute work call this morning, Rocky. As much as I need the $$, I know there are other days of the week ... which I'd much prefer.

So how's your day going?

@msolga,
I'm working towards completing a clutch job on a yunker, and trying to decide what I can make with my available ingredients that will spark my dead appetite.

(it's still that holiday here...)

@Rockhead,
Well I won't ask what a "yunker' is, Rocky. (No, no need to explain, it sounds like boy stuff I wouldn't get anyway. Wink )

So you're have a nice, quiet Sunday, then?

How about a gutsy, flavorsome soup for dinner?

@Rockhead,
Sounds good to me, Rocky!

Do you think you should stop following yourself around now? Wink

@msolga,
i can see as how i could be perceived as a headache, msO. Wink

I rather try not to follow anyone, it makes folks nervous.

and nervous people do silly things.

well, off to start the stove I am. folks gonna be around wanting to say goodnight and stuff soon...

@Rockhead,
Before you go cook, I didn't say anything about you being a big headache, Rocky!

I was responding to your comment that following yourself around had given you a headache. I was helpfully suggesting a cure! Smile

@msolga,
s'ok. (i would not be a Big headache anyway, just a little intense throbber)

tis the headache what has been following me off and on for a bit, not my me, msO...

I welcome all cures.

@Rockhead,
Well I say rest that throbbing head & go make dinner (Now! You're probably starving. Which doesn't help. ), Rocky.

A good night's sleep would do wonders, too.

Bet that headache's gone in the morning. Smile

Sunday evening, winding down.
We've got a long weekend - Family Day - so there will be a third day to rest and relax.
Today was the last day of the course of antibiotics for my ear horror.

Set and I went to a couple of 2nd-hand shops to look for books. We're both kinda happy with what we found, though we really need more Patrick O'Brien books to read. I found about a dozen (eleven, I just went and counted) Miss Read books, and I am absolutely blissful about it. Also found a Carol Shields I haven't read AND a Respighi c.d.

It is going to be a nice nice quiet evening - until I start watching the Olympics again Cool

@ehBeth,
Enjoy your winding down time, ehBeth. (Perhaps you should reconsider the Olympics? Wink )

I love second hand bookshops, too. Sounds like you & Set both did well today!

@msolga,
Yes, the Olympics are dangerous to my winding-down plan, but I do love to watch hockey and skating, and speed-skating, and skiing and mmmm you know winter sports!

@ehBeth,
Perhaps if you sip warmed milk ,while in a yoga position, as you watch these potentially excitable-to-one things, ehBeth? Wink

Anyway, do enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

@msolga,
Bonne nuit Lady Olga!
Good night Dutchy!

Good night to the many sleeping populace of a2k (except a good morning to the Great Britons who have been afflicted with the sunrise and the wickedly blinding light of the unwelcomed morning... and as the great philosopher queen Sozobe had uttered ... "sleep is the most wonderful thing in the world."

Once again Goodnight a2k!! http://i50.tinypic.com/20g0gi8.jpg
