Huge NH Dem Turnout Favors Whom?

Turnout so huge, they are running out of ballots. The talking heads speculate this favors Obama but it is only a guess. It would seem though that the undeclared are voting Dem and they are for Obama in large numbers.

It seems obvious to me that it favors Obama.

But, we will see.

My take is that it depends on who the independents vote for. If they go Dem, I would say Obama. If they go Rep, I would say McCain. A large turnout also suggests more young voters. Obama again on the Dem side, but I don't know where the young go for Republicans.

Obviously, they are voting Dem because the huge turnout is on the Dem side according to reports.

In that case, maybe Romney is the winner since independents boosted McCain in 2000.

I doubt that very much. I bet McCain wins convincingly.
