Pretty funny. So why is Fox excluding Ron Paul? Not that I'd vote for him, but he certainly has a following. We aren't voting in this state until well after the nominations are settled, but the RP folks are standing at the intersections every Sunday holding up their home made signs and holding rallies in local parks. My favorite sign: "Vote for Ron Paul, win a Free Country!" Someone defaced all their signs and they promptly took them down and put up new ones, made with stencils and spray paint. It's good to see folks fired up, even if it is about Ron Paul.

The first segment of the NH/Facebook debate was open for the candidates to actually butt in and debate each other on their stances. After all the flap over RP being excluded from this one... he basically sat there like a lump on a log in the NH round.

He doesn't have a chance whether one debate or one hundred, especially if he doesn't make good use of it, so screw him and all the whiners over the exclusion.

But Ron Paul was the first one to challenge Guilliani over his 9/11 changed everything stance. His refusal to back down when 9/11 was mentioned might have been the first hole in Guillani's armor.

Don't kid yourself, the only person to hurt Rudy is Rudy.

RP has his following but that's it. He has stated he is not interested in a third party and he isn't going to endorse anyone....so he is worthless and virtually invisible in the big picture. He's terrible at politics too or he might have had a chance.

I agree he isn't going to win, but he's got potential in a debate to cut through some of the rhetoric. If he sits there, nothing is really lost. If he mixes it up, he's a great plus. For just that potential, he should be included. Otherwise we'll just get all the candidates yelling that they are the most pro-war, the most anti-tax and that they hate Mexicans the most.

Well no one hates Mexicans. There happens to be an important and dangerous border issue, if you can't distinguish that then you need to do some searching.

RP is just on a ride which he knows is going nowhere, in some respects it's disingenuous of him to lead the Paulistas on. His agenda is completely unrealistic and all he as exposed is the general disatissfaction of government.

Still I agree with you...as long as he's in the race he should be included.

Rudy has no chance to win either, yet he's included. In fact, doesn't Ron Paul poll better than Rudy right now?

There are things I really like and things I really don't like about him, but he deserves to be in the debates.

From what I understand there was a criteria used for who got invited to the debate. Something based on the average polling at Real Politic or something like that....RP didn't fall in the numbers window.
