voter turnout was just over 40 percent, no better than the previous midterm election. One valid view of why 60 percent of eligible voters did not vote is

Nothing in this world could scare McCain - he's seen the real ****, arms broken on the way out of the jet and downhill from there. More importantly he's got Republicans, some Libertarians and any Democrat that thinks we should continue being a country as opposed to a prefect of the global market behind him. Iowa did what they thought was in order, their practicality is admirable.
