What can Romney's $$ buy?

Considering the money that Romney has personally spent so far for such a dismal 2nd place showing, does anyone believe that Romney believes the nomination was going to be his for the buying? What does this say about Romney's ego? How much ego should a president have?

Romney spent something like $10,000,000 of his own money in Iowa. If he continues to spend money like this, will his children take him to court and have him declared incompetent because he is wasting their inheritance?
