One of the CNN broadcasts last night reported that Romney said that in an election that had a large evangelical turnout it isn't surprising that the evangelical candidate won.

Does this mean that Romney is admitting that he was never the candidate for evangelicals and that he never intended to be? Just how serious can Romney be about continuing his campaign since evangelicals make up such a large proportion of the GOP primary electorate?
