I spent a great deal of time breathing deeply. I live at practically sea level, and there I was, just a few miles from Mile High Stadium. I became worried a few times, when it seemed so hard to get enough air.
I've been to Denver twice. Our company's US headquarters are in Lakewood. I loved it! We went to the Buffalo Bill Museum, too. The first time I was there, Dys, Diane and Roger came up to meet us. We had a wonderful time.
My Swedish colleagues found the altitude a bit hard to get used to since they live at sea level.
Great pictures, Edgar! Thank you!
I lived very much at sea level before I moved to Abq, which is also a mile high. Didn't have any problem with breathing. Yet.
I just love these photos, EdgarB..
Nice pics, EB. I used to live in Aurora. Been to the Buffalo Bill museum several times.
Yer makin' my skis nervous....
My one regret is, we did not get any deeper into the mountains. I have driven through Colorado, heading to California, after beginning at Providence, so, I have seen it before. But, my wife had never been that far north in her life. It is for her sake I wanted more.
I will keep posting pics as I find the time to scan them.

Next trip out there, try and plan at least a day driving up to Estes Park (about an hour and 1/2 up into the mountains), and visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park. Best time is in September-October. Absolutely beautiful.
It's all beautiful there, and if you happen to have Dys as a guide, it makes it awesome. I found it breathtaking, and so are you're pictures, ed!
Thanksamillion for sharing, friend!
Enjoying the photos, edgar. Thanks.

Most definitely. It's wonderful. (My husband's family has a cabin in the Rockies -- nothing fancy, no running water or electricity, but gorgeous. I've been there about 4 times now I think, just love it.)
Great pics, edgar, I've enjoyed them very much!

Vail is also about and hour and 1/2 from Denver, but it's straight out West on the Interstate. Great skiing!
wow...such BEAUTIFUL photos Edgar...sooo envious of the scenery (although...not so much the temperature that comes with it).
Can't wait to see more.
Give me men to match my mountains,
Give me men to match my plains,
Men with freedom in their visions
And creation in their veins.

When I was in Denver I went to the CityH all. They have a step there with the inscription" You are standing One Mile above Sea-Level2"or something to that content.... And I forgot to bring my camera!!!
