RUDY: 'JUST A HEADACHE'
By TODD VENEZIA, Post Wire Services
December 23, 2007 -- It's the case of Rudy Giuliani and the mystery malady.
After telling the world he had the flu, he said yesterday that he actually didn't have the flu when he was hospitalized last week, just a bad headache caused by lack of sleep.
The former mayor, who said he was putting in "three-quarters of a day" of campaigning yesterday, spoke after a town hall meeting in Hopkinton, NH.
Friday night, he traveled to upstate Rochester and declared he was recovering well after a brief hospitalization for flu-like symptoms in St. Louis.

If he cannot simply campaign for the presidency without getting sick enough to be hospitalized, how would he ever survive the stress and fatigue of being president?
no worries about that.... I expect Hillary is probably over her monthlies and she's going to be the president....
Being the President can't be that difficult. One gets a big desk, a nice chair, phones, all sorts of helpers (probably more than Santa has), and people ask simple questions that have simple answers. It's really a plum job.
The only real effort if to look good in a suit (or maybe a pants suit for this next President), and always have the correct facial expression. Smile when a smile is appropriate, or a studied, concerned look when that is appropriate. One also gets to meet many people that don't speak English as well as the average native born American, so when meeting these people the President can't wax nostalgic over old tv series.
Again on the positive side, one gets to live in a big house that always looks clean with white paint. The floors are always clean inside; the outside lawn is taken care of by someone that does that sort of work; someone cooks for the President and the family. There is even an airplane that is especially available for the President.
It really is a dream job. Strangely, one can retire after four years, but it must be so much fun, many Presidents delay retirement, if they are allowed to have the job for a second four years.
