The new one, thank you.

Old Jags are beautiful, just don't touch the switches...

i always had a soft spot for jaguars. i know they are high maintenance and they break and whatnot, but no other car would make me walk into a pole, twisting my neck to see a jag off as it passed by. especially the older ones. however, if someone was forcing a new one on me, i would not object either.

I thought you were lost in New York, Dag.

Ford is making Jag just another box......

What do I mean, do you know the word balloon? Balloon with headlights?

Actually, we cross posted, Montana. And I don't demand that all agree with me.

Segue...

one of my early boyfriends had, as it happened, an old jag at the time, which only made me more sure he was right for me...
and the time was, erm, 1964, so it was quite the old Jag, a real balloon. He was drafted - or had already been signed, whatever, he headed for Quantico in his Jag, from LA...

Died near the Mojave... the car, I mean.

I would definitely consider buying a used XK8 convertible...one of the nicest designed cars out. They can be had pretty cheap.

That's right, we all have different tastes and I guess I'm a balloon girl.

I'm glad you mentioned that it was the car that died at the end of your last post Osso, as I was about to give you my sypathies.

That fellow's all right now, some kind of math supernova. But, I remember him for music.

Osso, while you were contemplating that sharp car with an average guy, I was a but a gleam in a young man's eye.....

I'd like to have that car, however....

Yeh, but the deal is, life - while it seems to just loll about - is propulsionary, in its way.

Oh, that car was probably not among the best jags, thinking, turkey, but still...

that guy wasn't average, but he preferred the girl with the dulcimer.

Oh, and I was - I suppose - doing a tangent, slappy. But, I remember beautiful jags.

I once owned a Jag 140 coupe kinda like this one. It kept me broke and walking.
