Drain for softener..what should I know?

Can you post a pic of exactly where it's leaking?


Yes. Bypass the tank, dry it off, put it back in service and look for the first evidence of a leak.
Mark the spot and take a picture.

hmm i see this site doesnt have space to upload even tiny images, i guess ill have to take a pic and figure out where to put it

thanks for the imaging site but i decided just to go with my 5600 fleck system. my resin is shot and this guy seemed honest and straightforward so next week i'm getting a system installed.

on topic of this thread he did say the up and over the door for the drain and into the tub was just fine. It's already clamped in place and actually cutouts let it go thru a cabinet in there so it would be a pain to even try to modify.
